Time for Chapter Twenty Five!

Ryan's P.O.V.

"Shhh..." I whisper.

"It's eight in the morning. Are you sure you want to do this?" Wynter whispers back.

"Some pranks must be done, good friend."

She drags a chair into the middle of the hallway with everyone's bedrooms, with everyone in them. I stand on the chair and hold up my air horn.

"Three, two, one..."

HONK!

"Aah!"

"What the hell?"

"Oh God, really?"

"Ow!"

"Are you kidding me?!"

There were a few other sounds and then everyone came barreling out of their rooms.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Jason shouts.

"Rise and shine!" I say, ignoring him.

"Really? This better be important," Caden says sleepily.

"Oh it is," I say, grinning at Wynter.

----------

Ten minutes later, we were at the country's biggest amusement park. We all set down our stuff at a picnic table. Notch, Wynter and Caden took off one way, while Herobrine, Jason, Lila and I ran another way.

We hopped in line for a ride called The Rocker. The line wasn't too bad, and we got on quickly. The guy working there gave me a look that I couldn't figure out but he started the ride. We went up, up, up, up... Lila was clinging to me. I shook her off as we reached the top. It stopped for a moment but then it began. My stomach drops as the ride does. I put my hands in the air and scream as loud as I can, trying to be louder than Lila (which is probably impossible). We speed right through a loop and another drop. I look over to see the guys laughing. They were talking to each other- okay, shouting- and smiling. The ride suddenly came to a stop and jerks us forward. Lila immediately grabs my shoulders. I brush her hand off. "Are you seriously scared?"

"Ryan, I've never been to an amusement park before. Give me a break."

"You haven't?"

"No, I never even knew what they were. Till one day my brother went and came back with a cast on his arm."

I put a hand on her shoulder. "You'll survive."

We keep walking. We pass under a ride called the "Hallucinator." It had strobe lights and weird music. You sat in a circle of seats. The ride not only swung you a hundred feet in the air, it also spun you really fast. I was leading everyone else and was paying attention to my slushie that I just bought.

Suddenly Herobrine yanks me backwards, causing me to drop my slushie. At the exact moment, a cell phone falls from the Hallucinator. It hits the ground and shatters to a thousand pieces.

We all stand there, staring at what used to be a phone. Most of it landed in the spilled slushie.

"Oh my..." Jason trails off.

"My slushie..." I whisper.

"Damn, Ryan! You almost got murdered by a cell phone!" Jason exclaims.

I turn around and hug Herobrine. "How did you see that?" I ask.

"I just looked up. I thought I heard somebody scream about your head."

"My head? Ohh, you mean like they tried to warn me. Thank you so much."

"Not a problem." He gazes down at the mess. "You probably want another slushie, don't you?"

I came back a minute later with another blue slushie, this time I made sure I had a good grip on it. We sat back down at the picnic table the moment the others come back.

"So, how was it?" Caden asks.

Lila points at me. "Ryan here was almost killed by a cell phone."

They all look at me weirdly. "I'll tell you later," I say.

Caden gets up and walks away. I follow him. He sits down on a fountain. He looks a little sad. I sit next to him. "What's wrong?"

"Notch got Wynter first."

"Oh. I'm sorry."

"It's okay. Not your fault."

"I wish I could help but I don't know what to do."

"Don't worry. I'll find someone new."

Just then, a pretty girl with blonde hair walks past us. Caden grins and whistles. "I think I just did." He gets up and takes off.

I laugh and head back to the group. Everybody else is talking about whatever and laughing. I smile.

True friends.

A little while later, we head back to the cabin just to hang out for a while. Jason was making a really big pizza while the rest of us either watched tv or went to the lake.

"Hey guys, sadly tomorrow we're leaving really early. So if I were you, I'd pack your things beforehand," Herobrine calls out.

"Aww," everyone says.

I walk back to my room. Herobrine's bag was stuffed on the bed. I quickly pack my things and set my bag next to his. I gaze into Jason and Lila's room to see Lila packing up. She had two bags. I walk over to Caden's. He had a small bag, neatly stuffed. Notch was nearly done.

I then remember that Wynter wouldn't be coming with us. I gaze back at Notch who was smiling. I didn't want to ruin his mood so I turned around. Wynter was standing there.

"You guys will be coming back soon, right?" she asks hopefully.

"I don't know. It's quite a ride. I'm sorry," I reply.

She saddens. "I'll miss you people."

"Why don't you come with us?"

Wynter looks surprised. "Really? I.. I can't do that."

"Why not? It won't hurt."

"I know, but there are people here that will miss me."

"Come on. Do it for us."

I turn around to see Notch still smiling. I turn back to Wynter. "Do it for Notch."

She pauses for a moment but finally gives in. "Oh, alright. I'll meet you guys at the station tomorrow."

She then turns and leaves the cabin.
