His Return

An unpleasant reunion

Armin's POV

As I wake up I do my morning routine and I text Marco asking him if he is available to grab a coffee and talk. He texted me back saying yes and tells me to meet him at a coffee shop down the street in 10 minutes. I go to wake up Eren only to find him doing push-ups.

  "I didn't think you would be awake at this time," I said surprising him 

"Well a lot has changed Armin," He said laughing 

"I'm going to get coffee with Marco, you want to come?"

"I'll come by later I want to finish unpacking first," he said opening his suitcase

"Alright, well let me know when you are coming," I said leaving 

As I get to the coffee shop I order and coffee and get a table waiting for Marco. As I'm on my phone I notice a couple walking in together, as I look closer I realize it is Jean and Mikasa. I try my best to not have them notice me, but Mikasa notices me. She starts walking toward me as I fake a smile.

"Hey, Armin what are you doing here?" She said smiling 

"Oh nothing just came to get a coffee is all" 

"Hey Armin, long time no see man," Jean said walking over 

"Hey Jean, how are you?" 

"I feel amazing, now that I'm going to marry Mikasa," Jean said kissing her on the cheek 

"Oh yeah that's right you guys are going to get married in a few months huh?"

"Yeah, speaking of the wedding have you heard anything from Eren?" she said staring at me

"Um no not recently sorry," I said hoping she would believe me 

"Why do you want that loser at our wedding?" Jean said getting angry at the sound of Eren's name

"Because Jean he is my childhood friend," Mikasa said getting angry too 

"Sorry to bother you Armin," Mikasa said as she walks out

"Hey Mikasa come back, sorry you had to see that Armin," Jean said as he goes to catch up with her

As they leave I see them through the window arguing about what I believe is Eren attending their wedding. As the walk away I see Marco walk in, he orders a coffee and he sits across from me. 

"Hey Armin what's up," He said with a smile 

"Um not much Marco just wanted to catch up is all, you just missed Jean and Mikasa"

"Oh it's ok I'm going to see them later," He said taking a sip of his coffee 

"What for?" 

"Jean wants me to go the wedding rehearsal since I'm going to be his best man" 

"Oh wow, that's great!"

"Yeah, are you going to their wedding?" 

"Yeah I am, but there was something I wanted to tell you"
