"Ezra and Eli!" I yelled for them.
I had just finished making breakfast and started making their plates.
I usually don't make their plates, I'm hoping this makes them a little more open to this conversation.
"Son, why we gotta be up early to talk? Can't you just tell us later?" Elijah said dragging his feet to sit down at the table.
"Boy, you won't get none of this food if you don't wanna talk." I said shrugging. He sucked his teeth but didn't move from the table.
"What you got going on?" Ezra said sitting down right when I handed them both a plate. I got my own plate before sitting down.
"So I found out some information last night that I need to let you guys know about." I said pulling out the envelope showing them the name.
"Who the fuck is Ezekiel." Ezra said mugging the envelope.
"Calm down, Taylor is a common ass last name." Elijah said crushing his food.
"We have another brother." I said making Elijah choke on his food. Ezra slapped his back hard as hell.
"You hit me too hard bitch." Elijah said slapping him before they both started fighting.
"Cut that shit out right now." I told them breaking it up before sitting back down.
"I don't believe this shit. Why didn't dad say something or at least bring him around?" Ezra asked.
"I don't know but I know that he's older than me. He has a different mom, and he's from St. Louis. From what I read he never got to meet dad." I told them.
"This shit is crazy." Elijah said shaking his head.
"I'm gonna try to get him out here so we can meet him. I don't want y'all to be rude because it's not his fault we didn't know him." I told them.
"I'm just confused." Ezra said shaking his head.
"Let me see your Instagram." I told Elijah before he gave me his phone.
I pulled up Ezekiel's page before showing them.
"That's him." I told them.
"Damn he do look like us. Especially you." He said pointing at me.
"Really? Nick said he look like Eli." I told them.
