"Hey, Derek can I leave for a sec, there's something I need to go um, check something at my house." I lied, he nodded while continued to put out snacks for the party.

I made my way to ou- Luke's house. I noticed Alex's car out front, and if he was there, then everyone was there. I looked around and then sighed. I sat down on the sidewalk, staring at the house.

There wasn't a sound beside the occasional passing of cars. I wonder what the people in the cars were thinking when, or if they saw me. I'd probably be thinking "what the fuck is he doing there?" which was normal I guess. Then again, I wasn't normal.

The sky over head was grey. It didn't look like it would rain, or anything. The sky was just grey, I mean it was cloud of course but it just looked like a genuinly sad day.

"He could be dead!" I then heard from inside the house. I got up and went a bit closer to the house to hear.

"Luke, we're only trying to help." It sounded a bit like Kellin, of course the one to always try and help.

"I don't need help! I need Michael!" My eyes started to tear up and slowly fall.

I started to walk when I heard the front door open. I looked back and that's when I met eyes with Vic. I wouldn't say he looked sad, or anything, he just kind of looked disappointed and not at all shocked I was there.

Before he could say anything, I dashed down the street, running as fast as I could back to Derek's house.

When I arrived there wasn't anyone there yet, though it was probably close to the time when everyone would start arriving. I ran through the front yard, accidently stepping in a bush. I opened the front door and then noticed the change in the room.

It was much cleaner, and the lighting was now a dim neon blue. I could see the light lining the ceiling, I hadn't really taken notice to it before now but it was pretty cool. There was a bunch of alcoholic drinks put out for anyone to grab, along with a bunch of lighters.

I walked into the kitchen and saw Derek standing there. Drugs were laid out on the counter along with a bunch of syringes. On the stove was a pot of muggy water looking stuff which was probably mixed with drugs, I assumed that's the syringes were for. Then there was packets of little tablets in bags of 5.

"Woah, that's a lot of drugs." I stated. He looked up and smirked.

"So, you can smoke drugs, inject them, and swallow them right?" I asked.

"Yep, along with insufflation which is basically smelling them, not a a very good way to take in drugs in my opinion." Derek then lit a cigarette and handed me the package. I opened it and took out one. I grabbed one of the lighters from off the table and lit it.

I blew out the smoke, it wasn't as thick as the smoke from last night but it was still smoke. I didn't really see why so many people smoked, I mean it wasn't fun. Getting high was so much better, I guess once you try it you'd get addicted, possibly?

Derek then took the pot off the stove and filled each of the syringes. There must have been at only 10 or so and there was still stuff left over in the pot.

After cleaning up a bit and doing what Derek asked, which consisted of me putting the tablets on the table in the living room and getting 2 more cigarettes, one from him, one for me.

I eventually put mine out, it just wasn't too pleasing to me. I'd rather try one of those tablets or even the liquid one of the syringes had.

"Here." Derek handed me another lit rolled up piece of paper, it was just like last night.
