Time and Life can pause in the memories,
If all the lost lovely things.
But Time and Life won't stop for gold,
Or even old folk stories told.
Time and Life can pause for sleep,
Creating the next day with new lilies.
But Time and Life won't stop for song,
Not even ones made of pure heart.
Time and Life can pause for love,
The setting sun and rising new dawn.
But Time and Life won't stop for hate,
Growing the grudge more with Fate.
Time and Life can pause for the majesty,
Of Mother Nature in all her glory.
But Time and Life won't stop for more than a minute,
Always keeping up with the train of the tide.
Time and Life can pause for you,
If caught up in the joys of dreary days.
But Time and Life won't stop for long,
So keep check of what you have left.
