Chapter 74

Was she hinting that she wanted to get married? Is she thinking about marriage? I don't believe her answer on it. No one looks up wedding rings unless they are considering marriage. I honestly don't know much about that. I hope she doesn't freak out when I ask her to marry me. I don't want to rush but when I feel the times right then I'll propose. Or we could be engaged and get married years later. I like that. I should start on that. It was 7㏘ and I was getting ready for our date. I didn't want to do anything big. I will go all out for our second year. I smiled and fixed my hair. When I finished, I walked into my room. I seen a teddy bear and a note. "See you found the bear, now find the item I don't like to share." It said. I smiled.

I walked to the kitchen and opened the fridge. I took out a container of frozen yogurt. "You are on a roll. I hate the cold, what makes me scold." It said. I walked to my computer. She hates it when I'm constantly on it. There was another note. "Being bright or sinking into the night?" It said. Easy. She loves the night time. I turn it over. "Cuddling with me is great, but so is being out late." We always hang at the beach out late at night. I smiled and picked up my key and walked to my car.

I seen no one on the beach. It still light out but none in sight. I seen a paper dangling from a branch on the tree. I pick it up. "Walk 8 steps to the right and 6 forward. 2 left and 1 step back. There you shall find a path." I did as the note said. I then seen a path of rose petals. I follow them. There was an X under my foot. "X marks the spot." I heard. I looked up and saw my amazing girlfriend staring at me while smiling. "Sorry for the corniness but I got to rythm right?" She smiles. I hug her and look at our surrounding. A table was set up with candles and a flower in the center. She beat me to my own plan. I smile. "Do you wanna just stare or , try this killer salad if you dare." She says. I smile. "You look beautiful." I whisper and pull away from our hug. "You look handsome." She blushed. She's so amazing. I blush. "Come on let's eat." She said holding out her hand. I smile and take it. One day it will be mine forever.
