I held on to chase arm as he helped me in the car. I leaned against the window.

He looked at me with red puffy eyes

He quickly looked away biting his lip

You hungry he said

Yes I mumbled

Okay I already took the girls to school he mumbled

I nodded my head looking away

We drove home and he grabbed my bag as as I walked in the door.

I went straight for the shower. I stayed in for 30 minutes then I finally decided to get out.

I wrapped the towel around my body quickly drying off.

I got dressed brushing my hair into a neat messy bun.

I grabbed my phone as we finally made our way to the waffle House.

I squealed clapping my hand

He got out opening my door for me

Thanks I mumbled

He nodded as I grabbed his hand . He smiled as we walked in sitting at a booth.

Can I start you guys off with drinks the man smiled

Yes I'll have a Dr pepper he said

And I'll have the Same with a lotta ice I smiled making them laugh

Coming right up he nodded walking away

I looked up at chase as his face held a sad expression

You okay I said

I just feel so bad I wasn't there to help you ...now our baby gone and you hate me he said as I few tears fell

I don't hate you baby I was just upset I'll never hate you... And you didn't know it was going to happen I said

He sniffed looking at me

I leaned over the table kissing his lips

The waitress finally brung our drinks and we ordered our food making small talk.

Once we finished he paid and we left.

We went home and I laid across the bed closing my eyes.

You good he asked

Mhm just tired I yawned

Go to sleep then he said rubbing my back

No lay with me I pouted
