I feel the salt water burn my eyes as I'm pulled far under water. I kick whatever is attached to my leg and quickly try to escape. I reach the surface for one last breath of air before I'm pulled under again. I try and look down at what is pulling me so harshly but I can't see anything.
It's complete darkness.
I look up and see Kalebs legs. He dives under water frantically searching for me and I try to reach up and grab him, I try to call out his name but the water drowns out my voice and he is too far away.
My eyes start getting heavy, I start getting really light headed. I think I'm going to drown. I can't breathe. I can't gasp for air. This is where my life ends. Everything starts going black and I try to keep my eyes open but it's starting to get too hard. I need air.
Darkness.
I wake up and immediately look at my surroundings. It's so hard to see, everything is dark. Shivers go down my spine as I try and stand up. My legs are weak and they start to wobble, they feel like noodles. My hand reaches out in front of me and I feel something warm and gooey.
"Ew," I mumble underneath my breath as I wipe my hand off on my bare skin.
My teeth start chattering and I fold my arms across my chest, trying to find warmth. I can feel my fingers go numb and I look down at what I'm wearing. Why does it have to be a bathing suit?
"Hello? Anyone out there?" I yell, hoping someone could hear me.
"Where am I?" I call out again.
I can hear my echo off in the distance going further and further away.
Soon after I hear rattling next to me. I look over and see a beast slowly stalking like I was his prey.
