planet or plastic

part 2

We live in a world where we want the easiest way out. But did we go wrong with plastics?

The sun was shining, we were enjoying our family vacation at the nungwi beach in Tanzania.
I happened to wonder off while everyone was having lunch, some creature near the shore caught my eye. "I need to see this", i told myself.
As i came closer, i noticed it was a turtle. Such a beautiful creature indeed. I carried it off the ground and noticed it had a plastic ring around it's shell. I looked for a sharp edged stone and cut the plastic off the turtle.
At that very moment, i realised we human beings went wrong with plastics.
But what could i do? "i'm just one in seven billion", i thought to myself.
