Yumiko walked out of the apartment building, and down the sidewalk. She sighed a little, this being the first day of a new school year.
'First day of a new school year, and I'm already late.'
She laughed a little at herself. She didn't live far from U.A., so she arrived at the school quickly. She walked into the teacher's lounge and bit her bottom lip.
'Crap. There's people here.'
"You're late, Yumiko-kun." A monotone voice said.
Yumiko looked over to who the voice belonged to. It was Shota Aizawa. She blushed slightly, but it wasn't noticeable.
"S-Sorry, S-Shota-Kun..." She stuttered quietly as she sat down at her desk, which was next to Shota's.
Someone laughed a little. She looked to her left and saw Hizashi. Hizashi was the one who laughed.
"You're always late on the first day of a new school year. Why is that?" Shota asked as she looked at him.
She looked down at her hands. "I-I'm not sure..."
