Diana Cho, was a mutant of Korean descent, her parents had moved into the United States shortly after getting married for a job her father had taken. Growing up in a normal family, Diana never saw herself as anything other than a regular person. That was until she faced harassment as a young teenager, triggering her powers to surface. She soon learned that she had the ability to produce electricity, out of fear, Diana suppressed said abilities.
From then on, Diana became driven to perform at her best. Learning ways to defend herself as well as gaining as much knowledge as possible about the human body. Diving deep into the science of the human physiology and mind, she also dabbled in other things such as biochemistry, microbiology, and so on. This later earned her a degree in biological science, graduating as one of the top students in her facility.
With this she went on to work for the CIA, as an agent. And her pursuit for other mutants began, which led her to befriending Moira McTaggert. The both of them had become close as Diana worked hard to become indispensable to the CIA. Unknowingly, this unlikely friendship would earn her an encounter with an unlikely group of people.
