"Ok so how many dates have you been on with Jeremiah"

Danae was once again questioning about my "relationship" with the star football player Jeremiah. It has been a whole month since we went to breakfast. After that, we've been to the movies, mall, roller skating, bowling alley, lunch, dinner, and breakfast. You can see we've become great friends. He really has changed. I mean I haven't seen that boy who made me hate him since our YOLO talk. I enjoy it because he has become a person. On Saturdays we go to the YMCA and volunteer because he still needs his hours. I like who he has become.

"They aren't DATES!! We are friends! Is that so bad?!?!" I say with a straight face.

"Whatever you say. But homecoming is this month, are you and your "friend" going together??" Danae smirked. Her famous i know more than you smirk.

"I don't even know. It hasn't even come up. I doubt it." I say.

Oh God is he going to ask me to homecoming? I mean he ain't bad on the eyes if you know what I mean.

The bell for 3rd period rings and me and Danae start talking about possible dresses and start planning some shopping time. 3rd is English so we could talk as much as we want because the teacher is a dimwit.

After 3rd, Jer and Alex are coming from practice and meet up with us. Our daily routine. Me and Jer separate from the others because our classes is the same way.

"Daesha. Ummm. Soooo. Uhhhh. Meet me at Starbucks after school ok?" He said nervously.

"I have track but I think I will be too late if you make it quick." I said.

"Yeah I won't take long. Ok. Bye." He gave me a quick hug and walks away.

That was so weird and suspicious. Starbucks. After School. What in the world?

During 5th period he had to leave the class to go take a test so we didn't even talk. 6th period seemed to last forever. I kept asking Danae what time it was and how many minuets we had left and she was getting annoyed. Ooops.

The bell finally rang and I pretty much ran out class, Danae right behind me. We bolted across the street to Starbucks when I went inside it was decked out! My favorite song playing, and Jeremiah, Alex, my other friends and the whole rest of the football team were all there.

"Jeremiah what is going on?" I said with all astonishment.

"Daesha."

He grabbed a Starbucks cup off the counter and got down on one knee.

He handed me the cup and on it read "homecoming?"

"Come on Daesha! Go to homecoming with me?" He asked

"Hmmm I don't know. What flavor Starbucks is this?" I asked very seriously.

"It's a Trenta Vanilla Bean." He said nervously.

"Oh we'll then yeah I'll go with you!" I said and took a sip of my coffee.

Everyone laughed and we started playing music and I ditched track. Tehe oops.
