Chapter 6 (Blaze.)

Blaze P.O.V

I stared into her eyes feeling my wolf howl in joy. I sighed softly as she wrapped her arms around my neck and hugged me. Unable to refuse I wrapped my arms around small waist and hugged her back my wolf howling in joy at having our mate in our arms.

I breathed in her scent as it wrapped around me. As I held her my thoughts and love for Ambria drifted away from me as the small love I held for Lilly bloomed.

I felt her small hand tangle in my hair bringing my head down. Just as our lips were about to touch I jerked away from her.

I shook my head coming back to my senses.

"I'm sorry Lilly. I-I can't. I rejected you I'm sorry." I whispered.

My heart shattered as she paled her eyes welling with tears. As the first tear dropped I felt like I'd been punched.

"What?" She whispered brokenly.

"I can't love you. I already love another, I'm sorry." I told her my voice breaking.

I never knew it would be this hard to actually reject her. A large part of me wanted to take it back and kiss her tears away.

"Is this about Ambria? You know she's mated to my Uncle. She'll never love you like I will. We can be happy! Don't do this." She begged tears coating her cheeks.

"I-I'm sorry." I told her tears of my own falling.

I wanted to love Lilly I really did. I wanted to hold her and kiss her. I wanted to marry her and have kids but I couldn't do that to her. I couldn't be with her when my heart was already given to another.

I spun and shifted running faster then I have ever dreamed.

Ambria P.O.V

I pushed my fingers into Lee's hair my mind in shock. I was really kissing him and was loving it.

It was like no kiss I'd ever had before and man was it good.

I broke away when my lungs were screaming for air but he didn't stop. He kissed down my neck to my shoulder were my mate would mark me.

I didn't protest when he lifted me up my legs wrapping around his waist. His lips crashed back to mine and I absently noticed we were inside the house now.

I felt him press me into the couch as he hovered above me.

"Lee" I whispered in awe.

He jerked back as if I'd slapped him and quickly pulled away from me. I sat up startled as he stepped away his face pale and stricken.

"Oh God. Oh princess I'm so sorry I shouldn't-- I'm so sorry." He rushed out pushing a hand through his hair.

I frowned and stood up slowly walking toward him. He watched me his face pale.

"Lee you didn't do anything wrong." I told him. I hoped he didn't regret kissing me because I didn't. It had felt right.

He shook his head quickly. "I shouldn't have been so....I shouldn't forced myself on you like that Ambria. Forgive me."

I wrapped my arms around his neck and jumped up causing him to automaticlly grab my legs to keep from falling.

Then I kissed him. He was frozen at first but after a moment responded. It felt so natural and right kissing him. I had known this man all my life and he had always tried to do right by me even if I hadn't realised it.
