Chapter 9 (Pain from within)

Blaze P.O.V

The darkness felt like water. It pressed down on me chocking me and filling me. I could hear voices but they were blurry and distant. I tried to move but the darkness just pressed harder and swallowed my screams.

I couldn't remember anything but that my heart hurt. I longed to speak to someone but I had no idea who.

Suddenly a sound pierced through the darkness shocking my entire being. A name forced its way to my mind.

Lilly.

Then like that the darkness started to lift away the feeling of my body returning just as fast. My eyes lifted open to see a white room that hurt my eyes. I blinked rapidly trying to get my eyes to focus. A terrified sob drew my eyes to the floor.

My heart raced at the sight of Lilly on the floor her body curled in on it self. Without thought I ripped all the wires and tubes off me and fell to the ground beside her my hands shaking.

Another ragged sob made her body shake and I couldn't stop myself. I quickly lifted her up and held her tightly agasint me. She screamed and fought me but I quickly restrained her talking in a low calm tone.

She stilled after a couple moments and looked up. She gasped at seeing my face and whispered my name before crying harder her relief filling the air.

I released her arms and she quickly slide them around my neck tightly buring her face agasint my chest. I caught the sight of her face and noticed the harsh red mark agasint her cheek. Blind rage filled me at the thought of someone hitting her.

"Your awake oh thank god"She cried hugging me.

I rubbed her back before she suddenly stiffened and pulled back a horrified look on her face.

"We have to get help! They took Ambria. They took her!" She cried.

I felt my heart sink at her words and instantly contacted my father through the pack link. I prayed Ambria was alright.

Ambria P.O.V

I glared at the man wanting to rip his throat out. I clenched my teeth as his hand slied through the air and slapped me. The sound echoed against the walls making it seem even worse.

"You will respect me child." He said calmly.

I turned my eyes back to him and spit my blood at his face which had filled my mouth due to his earlier abuse.

His eye twitched but other than that his face remained impassive.

"Your brother will come and I will enjoy killing you in front of him. Such a unruly and disrespecting girl you are. Much like your mother."

Something must have showed on my face because he smiled.

"Yes your dare mother Eliza. A beauty she was. It was unfortunate she raised such a horrid son then maybe she wouldn't have had to been killed."

"You bastard!" I snarled jerking at the chains that held my wrist together above my head.

He smiled a cold emotionless smile that sent a shiver down my spine.

Something slammed against the back of my head and everything went black.

Lee P.O.V

Fear so great that it forced me to my knees. Ambria had been taken.

Taken by the same people I'd rescued her from when she'd been two. Soon rage replaced the fear which I was grateful for. I tried to contact her through the pack link but she never replied. Meaning she was either dead or unconscious. I prayed for the latter.
