Your POV

"master they weren't that strong in the first place" you sigh as Master Zed just sighs and sits back on his throne as he puts his arm up to support his head 

"they were too caught up in you being my ace to see you place all of your shadows y/n" he sighs and sits up as he walks past me as i follow behind him

"they once beat me.." Zed says as i look at him but then put my head down as he sighs and turns towards me

"those girls are truly a hassle to deal with don't let their actions from the past cloud your judgment of them my disciple" he sighs as you nod your head and you swore never to underestimate them when they are together

Change POV

"Kat what are we going to tell them when we return without his head?" Ahri asks as I sigh and toss my daggers while ahri walks behind us and Akali carries an injured Jhin

"that new guy was pretty hot to be honestly too bad hes with Zed" Ahri sighs with saddness as Akali rolled her eyes while i chuckled

'she isnt wrong' i thought to myself as i realize what i just thought to myself about as i have a growing blush as i try to get his face out of my head

'his white hair like snow yet red eyes like a demon' i thought as i begin wondering how such a handsome man fell into the grasps of Zed

"Kat what are you thinking about?" Akali asks as shes next to me as i jump in reaction

"n-nothing important" i say looking away

"did THE Katarina stutter? who you thinking about your boyfriend back at Demacia?" Akali asks while chuckling as i sigh

"Garen isnt even interested in me like i was in him" I say sadly as Akali pats my back and i just sigh and continue to walk towards our camp

Timeskip

"Shen we are back" I say as Shen and Kennen look towards us as they surround a table with battle plans on it

"how did the mission go?" Shen asks while seeing Jhin and quickly walking over to help Akali as he carries Jhin on his back

"im assuming it was a fail?" Shen asks as i sigh and nod 

"but he had someone else fight us who is just as dangerous as Zed himself" Ahri says as Shen looks at her in shock

"Xayah and Rakan said that none of those 'students' of Zed's are strong" Shen says while Xayah and Rakan walks in 

"I heard our names" Xayah says while Rakan just followed her thinking of ways to impress Xayah

"we found another student of Zed" Shen says while Xayah just crosses her arms

"he wasn't that much of a deal right? i fought those guys and Rakan and I could easily defeat them" Xayah says bored as usually as Ahri shakes her head

"he actually beat all of us" she says while Xayah raises her eyebrow

"did Zed just fight you?" she says while I glared at her

"He was not alone he had a man who was easily just as strong as Zed" i say as myself and Xayah had a stare off making the atmosphere in the room tense

"anyways pookie who cares we will just beat him like we usually do with Zed's minions" Rakan says trying to change the subject and get Xayah's attention but she and I still had our stare off 

"tch whatever hes probably just as weak as everyone else" Xayah says while she leaves and Rakan soon follows her

"Katarina, Akali, Ahri are you sure hes as strong as you say he is?" as we nod and he sighs and kennen looks at him

"seems like we have another threat ahead of us" Shen says while we shuffle out of the tent 

"man i wish i couldve met that guy but not like that.." Ahri says sadly as she sighs and we walk into our tent

"hes an enemy now he cannot be helped" Akali says as she was facing her bed as she shed her clothing and climbed in bed as she covered herself with the blanket as Ahri and I followed suit as we all turned the lights out

'i hope i could see him again' i say to myself before drifting off to sleep

Your POV

"Zed master i believe that i should look for those people and prevent them from sending more people after you" I say while kneeling down in front of Zed as he coughs a bit but nods

"I have grown old..." Zed says as he starts to cough and blood splats in font of me as I shoot up and catch my master as he falls forwards as his body seems deathly light as i feel for his pulse as he still has one but its very light and slow as i rush him to a bed as i lay him down 

"what happened to me.." Zed says to himself softly as he looks towards me as im standing next to his bed as he takes off his mask as blood trickles down the side of his mouth

"it seems like the path i have taken finally has caught up to me...my sins are clawing back and demand the price of me going down this path" he says as tears well up in his eyes

"all..i wanted to do.... was to show my father and my brother...that i could be useful.." he says as i kneel by him and he closes his eyes

"guess darkness and power wasnt the path my father intended me to go...." he sighs before laying back and relaxing while breathing calmly as I stand up and put my hand over my face and swipe over my face as my mask appears when i do that and i back away into darkness with my red eyes gleaming in the shadows until they too disappeared
