Amnesia

"Ashtyn? Ashtyn!!"

A voice stuttered, getting my attention.

I tried to flutter my eyes open, but they stung.

It was bright when I finally got my eyes open. It seemed to be around midday, and Daren was huddled over me.

"Ashtyn!! Wake up! Can you hear me? Ashtyn?!"

My head was spinning, and I couldn't really tell where I was at.

Wait.

Yes I could.

This was the cave.

The tunnel with the cave where Daren and I slept - I mean, napped together. This is where I was taken.

It all came rushing back to me.

Kill Alpha Colin...

Do not get distracted from your mission.

Focus.

This is important.

Do you want to die, or thrive?

A voice very similar to the robotic demon spoke inside of my head.

No.

This wasn't inside of my head.

This was here. Somewhere around me.

"Ashtyn!! Come on, snap out of it! Let's get you back to the den." He morphed into his gorgeous hazel wolf form, and I climbed onto his back reluctantly. He dashed off back through the path that led straight to the camp. Straight to where the demon was intending to be.

Finally. The foolish she-wolf! This is working out way too easily!! She's led me straight to their camp! I didn't think it would happen so fast!

Who knows? Maybe I won't have to kill her after all.

Unless she kills Alpha Colin.

Then I will have to kill the she-wolf Ashtyn.

Wait.

Who's this? A male... Hmm... He goes by the name of Daren. How odd of a name. Hmm... I can't let him get too close to her. She might tell him about our little trip.

"Ashtyn. Go find Alpha Colin. Tell him you must speak to him in private."

I murmured to her.

Ah, perfect!! There she goes...

Oh! I must catch up to her...

"Alpha Colin? May we speak in private, please..."

Yay!!! Last update for Dawn of the Dane until Wednesday- I might make them Wednesday, Friday and Monday though!
