Olivia
"A virgin?" Nae kept her voice low but I could hear the anger. I turned to her but looked down at the ground.
"I wanted to tell you, but I figured you wouldn't have wanted to have sex with a virgin," I admitted. She sighed and leaned against the wall.
"Why in the world would you want your first time to be a possible one-night kind of thing?" She seemed to not be able to wrap her head around it.
"Because you finally wanted me. Why ruin that?" I admitted.
"That still doesn't give you the right to not tell me. I wouldn't have taken that experience from you. It should've been with someone special," she seemed to not get it.
"Nae, you are someone special." She stared at me a little surprised and confused.
"I'm not even sure how to continue this conversation," she sighed.
"We could act like this conversation never happened," I offered but I knew she wouldn't let this go.
"Is there anything else you've been lying about?" She checked but I shook my head. "It's one thing to sleep with you but to be the first person you've slept with. Nicki is gonna kill me," she groaned as she thought about it.
"It's not that big of a deal," I said but she shot me a slight glare.
"I don't understand how you can't see how big of a deal this is. How can I not think about it? I was your first time. I mean I knew you liked me, but I guess I didn't expect it to be that much." She looked down and tried to process everything. She just seemed so lost in her own thoughts right now.
"I just never found someone I was really interested in besides you. It's not a big deal really," I tried to brush it off.
"You just have this fantasy in your head about me and I don't want you to get disappointed when you realize how different I am from that," she warned me.
"I knew exactly what I was getting into Nae. I know you're not perfect and I know there's a huge chance that this can all end with me being hurt," I admitted.
"Then why continue it?"
"I want this, and I don't want you worrying about me. I'm a big girl and can deal with whatever the outcome is. You don't have to worry about hurting me. I'll be fine," I assured her, but she still looked skeptical.
"Nicki would kill me if I hurt you. She went off on me years ago about Blake, but this is worse. You're her little sister," she reminded me.
"I'll deal with Nicki."
"You'll deal with Nicki? There's way more than just Nicki. Mylan definitely won't look at me the same if I hurt you. Blake already calls you her cousin although you're technically not related. Even Cassie is protective over you. Literally everyone will kill me," she sighed.
"Would this be a bad time to tell you that Mere knows?" I slipped in there and her eyes went wide.
"Chimere knows? What the hell Olivia!? Of all people you told her?" She seemed to be getting extremely frustrated.
"How do you think I was so good for a virgin?" I pointed out and she connected the dots.
"You went to her the night of the reunion. She didn't try to stop you?"
"She warned me but at the end of the day, she knew that I knew what I was getting myself into," I said, and she seemed to go back into her head.
"I need to sleep on this," she concluded, and I nodded.
