Water Witchers, through the use of dowsing rods, have the ability to locate underground water reserves and pinpoint where to drill for wells. This common practice, also known as dowsing, has been around since the 15th century and has also been used to unearth precious metals, gravesites, and oil reserves.

What you are about to read is a work of fiction inspired by the California drought and my wild, exaggerated imagination of what it might be like if it were nationwide. Think, Mad Max meets The Road.

What would it mean for someone with the ability to witch water during such a time?

Thank you for taking the time to read my book. I hope you enjoy the thrilling ride.

Additional Note: If you've read Water in a Time of Thirst you'll notice familiar characters, but I've also added new ones. What's important to know is that I've written this as a stand-alone, but it also works as a prequel since it takes place about ten years before the other story.
