'Tracys bound to be fine of course she is' I say

It sounded more like a question than a statement

I stop when I look down to see a trail of blood staining the bottom of the wall. And now I'm concerned. Very concerned

It was Tracys. Part of me knew that. And part of me hoped it wasn't.

I fumble for my phone until I find it I dial 999 and hold it to my ear

I had no choice. She was like my daughter. I have to protect her.

'Police please I'd like to report..' I say but I trail off when someone tries to call me

It's Tracy!

I hang up instantly with the police and answer her

'Tracy! Are you alright! I'm so sorry for what I said, listen May-Li told me about Seth please tell me you got away!' I say anxiously

I hear a voice

But it wasn't Tracy.

'Where is she Seth!' I say angrily

'It's been a long time' he says

'Well I'm sure you didn't ring me to have a catch up now tell me where my daughter is!!' I say

'Daughter? Get real, she was never your Tracy' Seth says laughing

'She was never yours either' I say

I've got him there

'So I will ask you again for the final time where is Tracy' I say with a threatening tone

'She's safe' is Seth's reply

'You didn't answer my question.' I say

'Well that's what your truly thinking isn't it?' Seth says and I had to admit...he was right

'However...she won't be if the police get involved' he says

I knew he'd say something along those lines.

'Let me speak to Tracy.' I say

'Sorry but she's a little...indisposed at the moment' he says

'I swear if you so much as lay a finger on her' I say angrily

'You'll do what Mike?' Seth says

'Whatever it takes to protect my family' I say

'MIKE' I hear Tracy scream desperately in the background she mustn't have known it was me

Seth hangs up, unsurprisingly

I feel myself getting angrier and angrier at the fact she was in danger and I couldn't protect her.

I have to get the police involved...but what are they gonna do that I'm not doing?

I check the call hoping to trace it somehow

An address pops up god he was stupid, the number was traceable! It must be Tracy's phone

All I can say is thank god for Find My iPhone

I realise I don't have much time so I run out the flat, getting in my car and logging the address in my SatNav before driving away at a worrying speed

'I'm coming Kiddo' I say feeling tears welling up
