[|] part forty seven: "are you serious?" [|]

Y/N in 5H. You are one of the main characters on Riverdale and you're character is in a secret relationship with Veronica.

Y/N's POV:
Lili, Madelaine, Cami and I just finished our scene so we all got lunch from catering. Do I feel like a burger, mac n cheese or a salad? I grab a small bowl of mac n cheese along with a burger and a diet coke. We meet up with Ashleigh and Vanessa since there was a Serpents scene being filmed with all the guys. We all go back down to the Pop's Diner set and sit in the big booth up the back that the set designer made for us. I sit in between Cami and Vanessa and let out a massive yawn.

"Someone's tired" Lili says as she giggles from across the table. I put my head on Cami's shoulder and pick at my mac n cheese.

"Tour is kicking my ass. It doesn't help that I have to get on a flight as soon as I finish a concert and go to a different time zone and country" I say before taking a bite from my burger.

We all talk a bit more about the show and our personal lives until I hear my phone ring from the table. I pick it up and everyone stops talking immediately.

"Hello?"

"Hey baby" My girlfriend replies to me in a sad kind of tone.

"Are you okay?" I ask worried.

"The girls and I just had a meeting with the label" Laur starts.

"Why didn't anyone tell me?" I say

"They didn't want to disturb you filming or something stupid so they told me to tell you"

"That's bullshit. Last time I checked I was still in the group so I should be included in everything. What happened?" I can hear her start crying and a million things run through my mind.

"Baby, just tell me. It's okay. Don't cry please"

"We're um, we're going on an indefinite hiatus after tour is finished" I can't believe it. If it's because of this show they have another thing coming. They're the ones who forced me to audition since it could potentially bring us more fans. It's all my fault.

"Y/N/N, baby, you still there?"

"Are you serious?" I say quietly.

"Did they say why?" I ask.

"Just that we are at the end of our contract and it makes sense to them apparently" Laur explains.

"We're still going to be okay right?" I say leaning on the table.

"Of course we are baby. Remember, forever and ever" Laur says cutely.

"I have to go princess but call me later?" Laur asks.

"Sure thing beautiful. I love you"

"I love you more. Break a leg but not literally" I end the call and put the phone on the table. I put my head in my hands and tears pour out. None of the girls except Vanessa has seen me cry before. The girls try to comfort me by asking what happened but I don't even know myself.

"This is not happening" I motion Vanessa to scoot and I get out of the booth to call someone I really don't want to speak to right now. I press a few buttons and my phone calls Simon. I walk a little bit away from the booth and press the number.

"Ah Y/N, what a surprise to hear you've called"

"Listen Simon, Lauren told what you and the label are doing. If you want to do anything to the group, I've got some suggestions for you" I say as I continue pacing. I list my suggestions and he hums at all of them. That's a good thing right?

Simon tries to tell me that if he kicks me out, I won't have a label to come back to when I want to make music. Simon tries to tell me other stuff but I'm sick of all the stupid suggestions.
