In that Pokemon Center, the trainer named Cheri Rubian was sitting near the fireplace inside the lobby with her partner Torchic named Scorch was sitting in her lap as she was happily being warmed up by the fire as both trainer and Pokemon were enjoying the heat of the fire
It was Christmas time, the day for joy, presents and the time to spend with loved ones. It was a jolly and happy mood filled holiday. At least for everyone else, as for the young Pokemon trainer. She was feeling homesick and gloomy since she was away from home and her family.
Cheri sighed as she sits by the fire looking at the glistening and bright flames as they provided her their warmth.
"You know...this reminds of Christmas I had a long time ago with my family on this day" Cheri said as Scorch looks at her curiously as she tilted her head.
Cheri sighs "It was a lot like today, except I had my family with me and we were all together..." She said as she started to tell her partner the tale of Christmas Day 6 years ago when things were more cheerful and fun for her.
