It was late at night and Donnie was in his lab working on a retromutagen.

He was thinking of you, of course. I mean, who could blame him?

You walked up to Donnie and wrapped your arms around his neck and as you rested your head on his, Donnie could feel your smile.

At this point, he had turned around and you had moved so that you were now in his lap.

"God, you're so perfect, Y/N. I'm so happy we're engaged. I can't wait to marry you, I love you so much." He kisses your cheek.

"I love you too, Don-Don."

He smirks, raising an 'eyebrow'. "Don-Don?"

You blush and shrug. "I thought it was cute."

He chuckles.

"You're right, Y/N. But you already knew that."

You giggle. "I'm going to bed. I expect you to join me in the next few minutes. Don't make me come back and get you." You say 'sternly' before standing up and placing a kiss on your purple masked boyfriend's head.

You walk over to the door and stop, turning around.

"Nice voice by the way." You wink then head to your boyfriend's room.

He chuckles. "Oh Y/N, you have no idea what you do to me.." He whispers, turning off the lights in his lab then heads up to join you in some well deserved sleep.
