"Chris, please stop overworking yourself! You're pregnant, remember!" Shinsou cried out, concerned for his wife, she let out a sigh as she turned to face him
"Come on Toshi, you already banned me from doing hero work. The least you can let me do is the thing that I'm passionate about." she then waved her hand "Besides, its only been a month. Do you really think I'm gonna do anything that bad that it's gonna affect the baby?" he stares at her
"…"
"Oi." she runs a hand through her hair "You know I have to work on stuff like this, Hitoshi, I'm running a whole facility that's solely on creating the future! Its nothing compared to I Island run by Dave Shield, but they also need my ideas to create that future…" he sighs this time
"I know you already have a lot on your plate, & having this baby is going to be even more, but remember that we're all here for you as well." she nods "So, who else knows about the baby?" she hums
"Well, the Heroic 8, the Power Trio, Izuku &… that's about it. Izuku only knows because he was there. I don't plan on telling until people start to notice or when the kid's born."
"So not even Devion knows?" she shakes her head
"Nope. I want to surprise him that he's gonna be an uncle." she then hums "Do you want to tell your parents? If you haven't." he looks at her
"Its okay?" she nods while patting her stomach
"He or she is your kid as well! I just don't want the public harassing us if they somehow figure out that the no. 2 hero is having a child. That being one of the reasons only a few know. "
"That's true…" he then kisses her forehead "Though I still can't believe we're gonna be parents, my love." she hums & just as they were going to share a kiss they both abruptly stopped at the sound of something dropping, they turn & look & in horror they see Shinsou's parents, Devion, Ashido, Aizawa, Yamada, Eri & Kouta staring at them in shock, she swallows thickly
they completely forgot that they were coming over to visit…
"Uh… hi, d-didn't uh, see you there."
"You're pregnant?!" they all yell
"… yes?" Devion was the first to react as he rushed over to Chris & brought her into a tight embrace, she was surprised by this but hugged him nonetheless
"Does this make me an uncle?!" he cried out, to which she nods
"Uh huh." he cheered & spun around with her in his arms, she was obviously surprised again but laughed along with him, Ashido claps her hands & goes over to Shinsou
"When's the kid due?!"
"Hmm, its been a month already so maybe… February or March." Ashido claps her hands in joy
"Ooo! I'm gonna be an aunt!" he chuckle
"You're still technically an in-law." she gives him a look
"So are you!" now they look over & see Mihoko in tears & Hajime was trying to calm his wife
"Aahh! I'm going to be a grandmother! This is the best day ever!!" she cried out, Hajime chuckled & wiped away a couple tears of his own
"& I'm gonna be a grandfather… yay." Yamada had tears streaming down his face & both Aizawa & Eri had to calm him down or else he would've shattered everything glass related in the house, Kouta just stood there rather awkwardly as everything played out
