I don't say I'm sorry often
Because when I do
I really mean it
And you can be assured
That there is always a pause
A silence
Between "I'm sorry"
And whatever words came before
When I say those words.
So when I tell you this
Please know
I mean it with every part of me
I am sorry
I am sorry that you're struggling
I'm sorry that you hurt
I'm sorry that your head
Is a little messy
And a little mean to you
And I am so so sorry
That you have to go through this
But
I still believe in you
I know it hurts
I know it's hard
But I believe in you.
You may not be doing great
But you're doing
And you're living
And I'm proud of you for that
Just keep going
I promise you
I promise you with more heart
Than that which I put into
"I'm sorry"
I promise that you will be okay
And I promise that it will get better
Just hang in there,
It's gonna get better
You're going to heal
It's going to be okay
I'm proud of you
I'm sorry you're going through this
But I'm proud of you
Because I know you're going to make it
