Chapter 2

Cara's p.o.v
I felt a pair of eyes on the back of my head, as I looked it was the mysterious man I squeaked internally and looked down playing with my pigtails he looked at me with a new look of something else...wait did I actually squeal out loud? He probably thinks I'm so weird now! I was brought out of my thoughts when the chef rang the bell telling me the food was ready. I took a deep breath, gathered the food in my arms and brought his food to his, table luckily I didn't fall and got there just fine he thanked me and I left. I was fixing my uniform when the bell on the door rang indicating that someone has entered I looked up and saw LOGAN!!!!! I squealed as I ran up to him and hugged him but my boss yelled at me for being inappropriate at work so I let go and told him to follow me to his table, when I sat him down he asked for a cup of water and chicken tenders with fries I walked back into the kitchen but I turned around to see the man with his jaw clenched and his eyes hard

I was really curious as to why he was mad. I hope his day went well.
*twenty minutes later*
Logan's food was ready and I brought it to, he said thank you and I'm pretty small so he leaned forward and kissed my head
"Excuse me, can I have some more water please?" The mystery man asked me and I nodded seeing that
his nostrils were flared and his face was red.

Arthur Curry's p.o.v
*before all this happened*
I kept staring at her she was just so beautiful she caught me looking and I wasn't ashamed but she got embarrassed and I heard the cutest sound that has ever come out of anyone's mouth. She looked down blushing and playing with her pigtails she looks so little and innocent the bell then rang telling her that my food was ready she brought it to me and I was pretty impressed because she got it all in one go and didn't fall she looked impressed with herself too. I thanked her and started eating.
As I was eating I heard the bell ring on the door, I turned my attention to the door and saw a dude looking around like he was trying to find someone and when he did his eyes lit up I followed his eyes to who he was looking at and he was looking at the girl who ran and jumped in his arms then proceeded to get yelled at (thank you creepy boss lady), she then proceeded to take this " mystery man" to his table and took his order she went back to the kitchen and my eyes followed her I wonder if that was her boyfriend. With that though I felt my face get hot clutched my fork suddenly not feeling hungry anymore.
*twenty minutes later*
I was still pretty mad and confused about this dude. When she brought his food out to him and he KISSED her head, I calmly killed him a thousand time with my trident in my head and sucked my teeth asking for my bill.

Cara's p.o.v
the mystery man soon asked for his bill but he did not finish his meal so I wondered why he left all of it. Leaving he left a tip and winked at me before he left and I furrowed my eyebrows but I told myself to calm down and then I proceeded to take everybody's orders and had a full first day!

*after her shift*
Cara's p.o.v
My shift was over and my boss told me I did a great job and I was definitely going to be coming back. I was walking toward my house and I heard someone scream and I snapped my head toward all of the commotion. Don't go in the ally Cara that's where Michael Myers lives! My hand were clammy and I shifted on my feet not knowing what to do. Okay I'm going to get my phone out and pre-dial 911 and see if I can get close enough so that I can actually tell them what is going on.
I tip toed to the ally entrance
"Don't scream, I will cut your throat!" The man I heard growled
"B-But I don't have anything!" The victim screeched
"Look love I don't care! Okay? Just hold still!" The guy screamed and I tripped on my feet because my legs feel like jelly. Crap.
"H-Hi?" I said crapping my pants, the psycho person faltered for a second and the victim kicked him in the nuts and run yelling "thank you" while passing me. Okay, that wasn't too bad maybe if I just walk away well al-
"Don't you move you little wrench!" Dang it! Gosh I was close! The man grabbed me and threw me against the wall with his hand on my throat
"Why did you save them? Now you have to die." The man said examining my face
"I-It was t-the right thing t-to do." I said and he looked at me rolling his eyes
"Well you didn't t-think t-that t-trough!" He said making fun of my stutter. Low blow man.
"Yo-" the man started but a gruff voice interrupted
"Excuse me? Jackass?" The person said and the guy turned to him annoyed he was being interrupted again
"Dude fuck off! I'm going to kill you if you don't!" The man said and the taller man just laughed
"Come on give it a shot. I. Dare. You." The man threatened. The guy threw me to the ground telling me to "stay there please honey" and I just sighed laying down on the ground
"Okay come on let's get this over with yeah?" The mean man said and the taller man agreed and motioned for him to "come and get him". So the man proceeded to charge at the bigger man with a knife and I gasped yelling "look out!" And when the man went to stab him the knife didn't penetrate his skin
"Woah" I said and Arthur laughed at me and then went serious grabbing the man and throwing him against the wall.

"Let's not touch the little lady yeah? Or I will hurt you worse then anything you've done to you victims. Got it?"
"Whatever man!" The man said and the man smirked before punching him and slamming him head in the wall effectively knocking him out.
He looked up at me his eyes piercing through my soul he could tell I was petrified and picked me up and put me on his hip, I was too tired to fight so I just went with it
"W-Where are we g-going?" I asked as he carried me to a place I didn't recognize I started to get panicky
"Shhhh little one it's okay I will take care of you" he made me calm down almost immediately and I was calming down and starting to get tired, I was half asleep when I heard strangers voices but before I could look and make a big deal out of it I was asleep.
