"I survived....barely managed to grab my rebreather in time. The reaper violently trashed pieces of my base around....or at least what used to be my base, as I quickly scrambled up the hatch of my Cyclops, got to the cockpit and piloted the submersible away, full speed.

"It's the radio, hold on a second."
Radio: This is Avery Quinn of the trading ship Sunbeam, Aurora do you copy. I repeat, do you copy. Nothing. *sigh....*In background: These Alterra ships, they go missing around an alien planet, send an SOS, expecting all ships to come to their aid...We'll see if we pick up anything on the long range scanners, and if not, we'll resume course and notify the federation. Can't go all the way across the system for a false alarm.
[Radio: Transmission ended]
*in the background: "Stupid radio! What is the point of a radio transmitting one way, I need to get to the long range transmitter onboard the Aurora, however....the crash site is in reaper territory...."
