If other tributes won the hunger games.

After I kill the girl from 2, I tell fire girl to run. I spare her because she took over my job. When the little girl, Rue, was reaped, I volunteered to protect her. After all she was my cousin. I knew she was smart, but I still wanted to protect her. When the games started, I got my supplies, but when I looked for Rue she was nowhere in sight! I ran into the field because it looks like everyone else was headed to the woods. I never found Rue, but to thank Katniss, she had a guardian. I let Katniss go. This time only though. I know Cato will be hot on my trail because I killed his "girlfriend" or whatever. But I'm prepared. Before the feast, I set up a tent with a large amount of delicious food I received from sponsors inside. I ate a bit of it and poisoned the rest. I also filled my sleeping bag with random things to make it look like I'm asleep. I am hoping Cato comes in and eats the food. It's hard to resist for me even though I know it's poisoned, so I'm pretty sure he will fall for it.

     After I ran away from Cato taking his bag with me, I ran into the field so he knew I was in there, leading him to my tent. But what he doesn't know is that I curved around and settled in a large, sturdy tree near the edge of the forest. After 3 hours, I hear 2 cannons about at the same time. After about another hour or so I hear a third cannon. I patiently wait until night to watch the tributes faces broadcasted in the sky while the anthem plays. When it finally did, I see Cato, Katniss, and the red head girl named Finch. The red head probably found my tent, not Cato, but I don't mind. I'm guessing Cato killed Katniss, and Peeta, the boy from 12, killed Cato as revenge. Peeta. I know I have to kill him to win.

     I later hear a howl. I know the game makers are trying to end this thing, so I jump off my tree and sprint. I hear an ear splitting screech and automatically know it's Peeta. It sounds like him. Whatever was howling definitely got him. I hear cries for help and eventually a cannon signaling his death. I knew he couldn't get far because before I killed 2, I overheard her saying that district 12's bag was medicine for Lover boy (Peeta) because Cato cut him. She also says it's a miracle he hasn't bleed to death. I know he got the medicine but that doesn't automatically make him 100% better again. Anyway, I just won the hunger games! I'm still very devastated over Rue. It was my job to protect her, and I failed. I know Rue would have wanted me to win, but I just don't feel the same without her.
