Chapter 4 - "The Greatest Time Of Year"

*1 month later*

Diana enters the room in which Cara and Mokuba were packing boxes with decoration while she was gone to get the lists and permisions about the space they will be using
Diana: Do you guys have everything ready yet?
Cara: Just about.
Mokuba: Everything is in check and nothing is missing if you want a more exact answer
Diana smiles at that and snaps her fingers to which Joey and Tristan enter the room and go over to Cara and Mokuba whoke Diana writes something down
Cara: *looks at her*
Soon enough Yami enters the room and walks over to Diana with a sad look and hands in his pockets
Yami: Hey little sister *lets out as he leans with a sad smile next to her*
Diana stops writing and looks at him as if he's gone crazy since he never called her that since they haven't told no one about how they are related yet
Suddenly she notices a scar going down Yami's neck and turns her face with her hand to the side a bit to check where it starts from and notices the fresh wound on his cheek with blood still running down on it
Diana: Cara is there a first aid kit in the room?
Cara: *already handing it to her*
Diana: And where might I ask did you get this shit on your face? *says as she pulls out a cloth and wipes the blood away from his face*
Yami: Yusei and I were forced to duel and the enemy cheated by throwing us on the street. I hit the raiway lines with my face while Yusei hit an electric pole and he was electrocuted *hisses when she starts using meds on his wound*
Cara: *frowns*
Diana: And is he alive? *asks as she starts sewing Yami's wound since it was too deep to heal alone*
Yami: Yeah, he's even walking but he's a bit shaken up and doesn't remember what happened before the duel at all *hisses again before groaning*
Diana: I said explain, not try to move you idiot
Just then Yusei enters the room looking a bit pale and half tired as he gave everyone a smile which Diana could tell it was fake since he was very close to him
Yusei: *goes over to Diana* Hey Diana.
Diana: Hey Yusei *smiles sweetly as she pushes Yami to Cara* The idiot was just telling me what happened. Are you alright?
Yusei: Yeah I'm fine.
Diana doesn't buy that tho, so she pulls him forward and wraps her arms around his shoulders while pressing her lips to his cheeks and neck before hidding her face there as well
Yusei holds her back close with one hand tangled in her hand and the other snaked around her waist
Diana: Do you have any plans for the rest of the day?

Yusei: No.

Diana: Do you think you can help us with the Christmas tree then?

Yusei: Sure.

Diana grins and kisses him all over the face in return just as the soccer team enters and starts to drag decoration boxes out of the room

Meanwhile Yami rolls his eyes and takes Cara's hand in his just as Jaden peaks in and makes a disgusted sound

Cara: *hugs Yami*

Yami chuckles as he hugs her back and kisses her head before he starts to caress her hear

Cara: *blushes*

Yami: You know the Christmas Ball is coming up, right baby girl? *says as he plays with a stand of her hear*

Cara: Yeah.

Yami: Then would asking you to be my lady to the Ball count as our ... lets say *moves away as he pulls out a rose* first date? *offers the rose to her *

Cara: *blushes, hugs him*

Yami: Soo is that a yes or a no? *asks as he hugs her back*

Cara: Idiot it's a yes.

Yami chuckles before placing the behing her ear and presses his lips to her own

Cara: *kisses back*

During this Diana shoos everyone out of the room as she closes the door and leaving the love birds alone

Cara: *blushes, 'Well, this'll be interesting.'*
