Two Months Later...
"Daddy?" Layla said from the back seat. I looked through the window in the front of the car. "Yes princess?"
"Mo Mo told me that mommy's and daddy's can marry other people. Is that true?" She asked me.
I made a face of confusion "Who the hell is Mo Mo?" I asked her. "Montana. Mommy's boyfriend" she smiled.
"Boyfriend? Since when?" I asked concerned. I couldn't believe that Amiah has a boyfriend already, we haven't even been divorced for that long.
"Daddy I don't know. Daddy can mommy marry Mo Mo if she wants to?" She asked me.
"No" I shook my head. "Why not? I like Mo Mo" she made a sad face.
"Layla I need to talk to mommy." I replied to her. "Okay" she shrugged.
I shook my head, why would Amiah bring another nigga around our children anyways without talking to me.
"Daddy?" She questioned again. "Yes Layla" I replied.
"Are we picking up Londyn?" I nodded my head "Yes babygirl" I replied to her.
She nodded her head and continued to eat her fruit snacks she had. Today I'm picking up Londyn from school and her and Layla are going to hang out.
"Come on" I opened her door. She hoped out the car and started to run towards the daycare.
"Hey don't be running. Slow down" I yelled. She started to walk again, as we approached the front door.
I opened the door and checked out Londyn. We got to Londyn's classroom and her face lit up when she saw me and Layla.
"Londyn" Layla ran up to Londyn and hugged her. "Sissy" Londyn smiled brightly and hugged Layla back.
I grabbed Londyns stuff. "Daddy" Londyn put her hands up. "Hi mama" I picked her up and kissed her cheek.
"Daddy up" Layla had her hands up. I adjusted Londyns back pack on my back and picked up Layla.
"Y'all heavy" I joked with them. I carried the both of them to the car. "Beautiful" I heard some lady say.
"Excuse me?" I asked the lady. "You and your daughters. The image of a father and his daughters is beautiful." She smiled at me.
"Thank you" I replied and got the two of them into the car. "Okay buckle yourself in" I told them as I closed the door.
I walked over to the drivers side door and buckled my seat belt. "Y'all buckled?" I asked them.
"Yeah" Layla replied. "Lon, buckle that one at the bottom." I pointed to the part I was talking about.
"I don't like the bottom buckle" she pouted. "I don't really care what you like. Buckle it" I said seriously.
She pouted but buckled it. "Londyn Marie don't start I'm not in the mood." I told her.
She remained quiet and I turned around to start the car and drive.
