Donny's POV
After continuous denials, shyness and stubbornness with each other, we finally clear things out. We might not be official in the eyes of the public but we'll get there eventually. The year is ending and I feel like I need to do something.
The last time we saw each other was 2 weeks ago at MYX Christmas party and halos hindi kami nag usap that time, it's frustrating as I can't go near beside her. Now that we are granted to have vacation with our families, I'm just hoping that we can also spend some quality time together. After our annual Christmas party with my family, I have one free day to spend for myself, that's our annual tradition din in family since sabi ni dad we also need to unwind or take care of ourselves and I decided na puntahan si Sharlene. I know that she's on vacation with her family sa Pradera, I want to surprise her and I already talk to Tita My about this and pinayagan niya ako sa plano ko. I just hope that she'll like it.
I didn't contact her or reply her messages for the whole day, kasama na iyon sa plano ko even tho I really want to reply to her messages because for the first time ang dami niyang texts and its very unusual as she's not really a 'text' kind of person. The evening came and I already prepared everything, I texted her cousin that it's time for him to bring Sharlene sa location.

Jed texted na naglalakad na daw sila, I instructed Jed that Sharlene should be blindfolded. While waiting, I can't help but feel nervous. Ang tagal na naming hindi nagkita and I'm quite anxious as how will she react to this. Nakita kong paparating na sila and I saw Sharlene struggled as she can't see anything with her blindfolds on.
"Jed, anong pakulo to'? Wag mo kong pagtripan ha" Sharlene said
When they finally stop right in front of me, I can't help but to look at Sharlene, I just want to hug her right at this moment. I silently mouthed thank you at Jed and he immediately left us.
"Hoy Jed, tatanggalin ko na talaga to', humanda ka sakin"
Akmang tatanggalin niya ang blindfold ng pinigilan ko siya, I held her hands carefully and went to her back.
"Wait lang, love" I whispered
"D-donny? Anong nangyayari? Ba't ka nandito?"
I removed her blindfold from her eyes and made her turned to me
"Surprise" I said and smiled
Hindi siya umimik and tinitigan lang ako, may mali ba? She's tearing up, damn. Crying Sharlene is my weakness, I don't like when she's crying. My arms immediately went around hers.
"Why are you crying?"
"Ang sama mo, hindi ka nagrereply, alalang alala ako sa'yo."
"Sorry love, that's part of my plan to surprise you" I said while bringing my hand up to her back to soothe her.
She broke the hug at tinanaw ang lugar at ngumiti.
"Did you like it?"
"Oo, sobra" she leaned over and hugged me again, I patted her head and kissed her temple
I always wanted to take her out, but with the situation we're in right now, we know it's hard as we should not be seen together in such a way.
"Tara, Let's eat. I prepared your favorites" I said as I motioned her to take a seat to our table
"Tataba na talaga ako, kanina pa ako kain ng kain"
"You're already thin"
"Anong thin? Tingnan mo nga tong mukha ko"
"What's with your face?"
"Mataba" she pouted her lips and I swear to God, if I'm not seated right now I might go to her side and kiss her, damn.
"It's cute. Okay?"
"Wag na wag mo kong matawag na cute, kapatid yan ng panget"
She never failed to make me laugh, I really miss this; talking and laughing at random things.
"Okay, you're beautiful. Happy?"
"Iyan dapat"
After we ate our dinner I immediately took my gift for her out of my pocket and went to her side
"Here, my gift"
"Hala, nasa bahay yung gift ko. Sorry Donny"
"It's okay, open it"
She opened it and I heard a little gasp from her
"Thank you, love" she smiled
I kneeled and took the anklet that I gave her at sinuot sa kanya, medyo nabigla siya sa aking ginawa but she just smiled after she realized what I'm doing.
"I hope you wear this all the time"
"Thank you"
Nagtaka ako ng biglang kinuha ni sharlene ang kanyang phone, magpapamusic lang pala.
"Sayaw tayo para makumpleto na tong gabi hahaha" sabi niya
I just laugh and grabs her hands and put my hands on her waist and her hands immediately went around my neck

We just stared at each other and it just felt right, just swaying our bodies together, not minding other things. What I'm feeling right now is pure happiness and only Sharlene can give me that.
