Jimmy had to admit, he was feeling pretty smug about the improved quality of the love he was dishing out lately. He was a pretty all-around great guy, even if he had to say it himself. The warm fuzzies he was getting from thinking, lately, about all the people he had warm fuzzies for, it was something awesome. Without even being in counselling, he was learning to suspend judgement, to look for the good, to appreciate every little thing and see every person as a tiny facet of God. To love, in short. To love, a lot. Barrels of love, the good stuff too.
Sure, he used to be a standard asshole, but wasn't everyone at one time? You had to learn, that was all: to give yourself the chance to change: the credit to assume you were capable of it. Now, he could love, did love, and damn it felt good to love.
