Kokoro hatake. Meaning soul/ heart. That's what she was for her brother also for many people around her. Someone who wishes for peace but knows it's not so simple.
Someone who was being and happy but had their fair share of pain. Someone who hid be...
(A/N so one of the reasons I'm updating today is because it's my birthday. I'll be updating my other books a bit later. So yay!)
I sat in a tree watching my brother introduce himself to the Genin. I took out my bamboo bottle taking a sip of the warm green tea in it.
It was a rather amusing scene to watch. My brother was beyond vague when introducing himself. Then it went to the kids.
They were beyond hilarious after the introductions finished my brother began to explain tomorrow to them. They became worried and my brother left them to their worry.
I jumped following my brother. I jumped down to the street and ran up beside him smiling.
"how was it meeting your team?" I asked.
"they're a handful," he mumbled.
"do you think they'll pass?" I asked.
"they don't seem to have good teamwork but I guess tomorrow, will tell," he said reading his book.
As we walked we soon came across familiar faces. Asuma Kurenai and Gai. I waved at them with a smile plastered on my face. I grabbed my brother's hand and dragged him up to the three.
"Hey, Kakashi, Kokoro," Asuma said with a wave.
"Hey," I said waving.
My brother simply raised his hand in a small greeting. I rolled my eyes.
"I heard you two got genin teams today too. How was it?" I asked.
"my team is rather lively," Kurenai said with a smile.
"mine as well. They'll learn to work together sooner or later. They have great potential." Asuma said.
"hows Your team going Gai?" I asked turning my attention to him.
"my team embodies youthfulness and are full of such life and potential," he said with sparkles around him.
I smiled trying to hold my laughter back. It was never a dull moment with Gai around. I turned to Kakashi to see him still reading his book. I punched his shoulder with not nearly my full strength.
"be social for once," I said with a huff.
Gai ran up to my brother challenging him to a competition. I sighed as Gai looked around for a challenge. I just stood back with Asuma and Kurenai.
An idea hit Gai. He ran to a store buying a ribbon and then running up to me smiling. He grabbed my hand and I felt my face slightly heat up. He tied the ribbon around my left wrist.

"the first person to get the ribbon from her in the next two hours wins. The loser does one thousand laps around the village." Gai declared.
My brother was still unresponsive while I stood there looking at my hand that Gai was still holding and my blush got worse.
"how about the winner has dinner with her." Asuma chimed in.
I turned at looked at the traitor. This gained my brother's attention as he glared at Asuma. Gai noticed and smile.
"let's do it." he cheered.
"wait I didn't agree-" I was cut off.
"you have five minutes to run," Gai said.
"what if I win?" I questioned.
"then we both run one thousand laps around the village and we each have to do one thing you say," Gai said.
Now this piqued my interest
"fine just hurry up and let go of my sister's hand." Kakashi saith glaring at the hand Gai still held.
"go!" Gai called.
I ran away. I simply had to avoid them both for two hours. Shouldn't be too bad. I could pull it off if I tried hard enough. But hopefully, if one didn't win let it be my brother.
