Kakashi's sister

Stage two

The genin walked into the forest of death and I sighed. Anko was really pushing them. I would be surprised if someone didn't die in there. Anko walked up by my side looking at the forest.

"This should be interesting eh, " she said.

"prehaps, " I said.

She looked at me and smiled. She elbowed my side.

"who you rooting for, " she asked.

"All of them, " I said.

She sighed.

" you're no fun, " she huffed.

I rolled my eyes not that she could see behind my Anbu mask. I continued to look at the forest a sick feeling coming to my gut. I couldn't enter right now. They had to deal with it themselves. Anko would go in later to check on them. I would go in to make sure there weren't any enemy ninja.

Our jobs we're different in that sense.

I walked around and froze coming across a body. My eyes widened. That person definitely went into the forest of death. I looked at the forest my gut-churning.

I ran back to where the other shinobi were. Anko looked at me and quickly followed. We both stood together looking at the body.

"This has to be him, " I said.

"Orochimaru, " Anko said.

I turned on my heel and began walking to the forest.

"wait, " she called.

I didn't turn back.

"my job here is to prevent enemies from doing what they want. There's no question in what I have to do. You should check on the kids, " I said.

I jumped into the forest and kneeled to the ground. I looked at the tracks trying to figure out which was Orochimaru's. I could tell the genin pretty easily. But some genin were pretty good at hiding their tracks. Plus I know Orochimaru was smart. He might have made his track like a genin to trick me.

I followed a trail and looked to see the sand genin. I growled and went in a different direction. Well, I did until I heard a voice. I turned to see people approach the sand genin. They attack but we're killed by the redhead Gaara.

My eyes narrowed. He was strong. I again turned away and searched. After an hour I landed in a tree. I bit my thumb and summoned Yuki. He was about to talk but obviously felt my mood and stayed quite.

"we're searching for Orochimaru, " I said.

He nodded and we continued to search. A few more hours passed and we soon stood in a clearing. I was about to leave but stopped in my tracks looking behind me.

I let Yuki go back and turned to look at some trees where a person stood. I went to grab a kunai and cut the head off a snake that tried to attack me from behind.

"should have guessed that wouldn't work on the silver fang. Daughter of the white fang, " he said.

"Orochimaru, " I growled.

He smiled and my stomach churned. He walked out to the open and we stood parallel to each other. I could only imagine how this would go.
