9 MONTHS LATER
Y/N looked outside his window, seeing the bright rays of the sun beginning to come out of the sky. He was in deep thought, sitting on his couch and going over his choices. If he attends U.A., he'll be forced to stop his vigilante work, meaning that he won't be able to stop any villains who won't stop until they are put down for good. Crimes like bank robberies and murder will slowly begin to rise. He didn't want to stop fighting crime and helping the little guy. But if he doesn't stop, that may cause more problems. All Might already knows who he is and where he lives. Who knows if he had already told other pro heroes of his identity. Maybe he'll come back and take him in for arrest.
Y/N ran a hand through his unkempt hair, a frustrated sigh escaping from his lips. How troublesome. Two very difficult and very different choices, each having their pros and cons. Whatever decision he picks, he'll be living a different life than the one he currently lives.
Suddenly there was a knock at his door, breaking Y/N out of his thoughts. Confusion was evident on the face on the young boy. 'I'm not expecting anyone to come by.' Y/N thought, growing hesitant as he approached the door. Before he opened the door, Y/N brought his pistol and hid it behind his back. He slowly opened the door, only the let out a long tired sigh. "What do you want, All Might."
Standing at the front of his door was indeed the number 1 hero. He was in his bulky form, with that large grin plastered on his face. "Why I came to see you, Young Y/N! To see if you have your answer!"

"So do you?"Y/N couldn't really figure out why he was so hesitant to accept this offer. Anyone would be thrilled to be given the chance to be accepted into the number 1 hero school. He would make his parents proud, make them happy that their young boy is training to become a hero. But that would also mean he had to stop being a vigilante. Stop sneaking out at night to stop crime. To turn the other way when he heard someone of distress. To basically ignore crime when he knows that it's happening.
It was time to make his decision.
"Fine. Let's get this over with." Y/N said with a sigh. He hoped he made the right decision. All Might laughed, glad that the young boy accepted. He patted the boy on his shoulder, pleased. "Glad to hear it! Now you best make haste if you wish to make it on time!" With that said, All Might was about to leap in the air, before being stopped.
"I have something to tell you..." All Might looked at the boy in confusion. What else did he need to tell him. "What is it, Young L/N?"

.Y/N was already beginning to to regret his decision. 'No point in turning back now.' Y/N thought to himself. He looked at what he was wearing, a simple grey sweater and sweatpants, along with some running shoes. He supposed that this should be appropriate enough for the practical skill exam. Looking at the clock on the wall, he swore under his breath. He better get a move on if he wants to make it on time. Y/N took off in a sprint, deciding to at least wake himself up.
He ran into an alleyway with a dead end. He couldn't stop without taking the risk of being late, so Y/N jumped onto the the side of the building. Using his momentum, he climbed up the wall and jumped to the opposite wall across from him until he was now on the roof of some apartment buildings. Wasting no time at all, Y/N began to sprint again, dodging and rolling under ventilation pipes or anything that came in his way. He continued his parkour stunt, jumping from building to building, until he saw his destination in sight. He stopped at a building across from the school, looking down on all the people that were applying to this prestigious school for heroes. All of them, wearing happy and joyful expressions, excited to be there.
Y/N climbed down, walking to the tall gates of the school, it's initials standing out proudly for all to see. As he was walking to get inside, Y/N noticed someone familiar. Upon closer inspection, he realized it was the same kid he had rescued. He was also the same kid who had recklessly charged at the slime villain to save the blonde. She looked shaken up, wobbly every time she took a step. Y/N couldn't help but laugh a little at this.
She soon tripped over herself, and was heading straight towards the ground. Her face would of made contact with the cold floor, if it wasn't for a girl who quite literally stop her. She was floating in the air, flailing her arms around and trying to get back to the ground. The girl laughed a little before releasing her back to solid ground. She walked away after talking to her, wishing her good luck all the while she stood there mouth agape. The green haired girl started to make weird noise, getting strange looks from those around him.
"Stop blabbering to yourself, your giving me a headache." Y/N said, walking up to her and glaring at the smaller teen. It seemed that he said it a lot harsher than he meant, because the green haired girl nearly jumped ten feet in the air. She turned around and began to bow her head furiously, apologizing. "S-sorry! I didn't mean to!"
"Its fine, just don't start doing that again." The girl only nodded her head, still shaking a little. Y/N went ahead and luckily found a seat. The famous voice type hero Present Mic was explaining all the rules and regulations regarding the exam. He kept yelling out each and every rule, it was starting to become annoying. Y/N droned out most of it, or tried his best at the excessive yelling. He was already beginning to form a headache.
After that, they were all moved to the main event. They were outside of a fake city where the exam was going to take place. Y/N was surprised at the mere size of it. "I'll be damned." He muttered to himself, astonished by the preparations the heroes have done to prepare this exam. He looked around and saw the competition. Some of them brought equipment that best suited their quirks. He saw that kid that always looked like she was about to have a meltdown, and it started to get on his nerves. Y/N walked up to her and slapped her on the back, making her yelp in surprise.
"Stop looking like a nervous train wreck. Your making yourself look weak in front of others." True to his word, the green haired girl looked around herself and noticed how some people were whispering about her, some saying they were luck a weakling like her got into this. The young girl slumped her shoulders, a little depressed. Y/N looked at the now depressed girl, frustrated how some comments could get her down. "Don't let their words discourage you, prove them wrong." He said to her, trying his best to cheer her up.
With that said, Y/N patted the young girl's shoulder and left. As soon as he left, he heard Present Mic give the signal to start. Everyone was left in a state of confusion, wondering if they heard him correctly. "What's the matter?! There's no such thing as a countdown in a real battle?! At least one of you caught on quickly?!" Present Mic yelled, causing most of the students to get over their shock.
Everyone looked to the front and saw someone already sprinting ahead of the competition. A few 1 point robots tried to stop him in his tracks, but he quickly jumped and brought his fist down on one of them, breaking its armor. It soon exploded, creating black smoke around himself and the other 1 point robots. No one could see a thing because of the thick smoke acting like a screen.
Soon, more explosions went of, and the cloud of smoke disappeared. Standing on top of the pile of destroyed robots was Y/N, his back to the entrance, blood dripping from his knuckles. He quickly dashed off, trying to find more robots to destroy. Everyone soon got out of their shock trance and raced inside, trying to score some points for themselves.
