Keep the sheep
in the dark,
let them sleep
put out the spark
that lights their eyes,
ignites their binds,
and frees their minds.
Lead their heads
into the sand
lest they understand.
Speak well the lines
you know to be false
and keep out the minds
who try to break walls.
Such men cannot be
allowed to be free,
they will poison thee.
So what we do
is for the best,
now close your eyes and rest.
For the truth is cold
and offers no light
but for the bold
who fear not the night.
So do not betray
your thoughts any day,
just kneel to your knees and pray.
For if you do not
and freedom is nigh,
what need is there for you, what use for I?
