Liar

Y/N POV :
As I walked through the empty school at 4:00 pm , all I wanted to do was go home and take a nice deserved nap . I just finished writing an article for the blue and gold with the help of Betty and Jughead of course.

But as tired as I was , I couldn't help but thing of Veronica. Veronica and I had been dating a couple of months now . But this past month we've been having troubles. Hell, I hardly even see her anymore.

As I past the music room , I could hear giggling . I frowned my eyebrows in confusion. I thought nobody was here .

"What the .." I said to myself as my made my over to the music room.

As the curious girl I am , I pecked through the window and my body literally froze with what I saw . Archie and Veronica sucking each other's face .

I closed my eyes as I let a few tears fall down to my cheeks.

How can they do this to me ? Veronica was supposed to be my girlfriend. I know we've been having problems lately but cheating on me ...

And Archie, he was supposed to be my best friend. Why would he do this to me ?

I quickly wiped my tears and headed to the opposite direction. Acting like nothing happened.

The next day, I avoid Archie and Veronica as much I could. Which wasn't that hard considering I didn't have all my clases with them .

As lunch rolled by , I couldn't help but let out a sigh . Normally I would be happy, catching up with my friends , gossiping . But this would mean that I had to face Veronica and Archie .

"Honestly I'm so done , if he doesn't have time for me then I don't have time for him ." Kevin went on and ramble on what had happened with a guy he meet on tinder .

Instead of saying something sarcastic like I normally would do in this kind of situation. I just stay quite while I ate my salad .

"Hey , you okay ?" Betty asked me once she noticed how oddly quite I was .

I hadn't told them what I witness in the music room yesterday. In fact , I hadn't told anyone.

"Yeah , I'm fine ." I forced a smile , Betty looked at my suspiciously but didn't say anything .

"Hey guys !" Veronica greeted as she approached us , Archie by her side . No surprise there .

She took an empty seat that was beside me and flashed me a smile except this time I couldn't smile back at her .

"Hey you ." She greeted and leaned in to kiss me but I moved my head making her kiss my cheek .

"Um , Y/N are you okay ?" Archie asked making me roll my head at him . Oh so now he cares .

"Never been better ." I said coldly making him furrowed is eyebrows at me in confusion.

I turned to Veronica and to my surprise she was already looking at me .

"Would you ever hurt me ?" I asked out of the blue making her eyes go widen . Knowing very well that what she was doing was in fact hurting me .

"W-What "

"I said , would you ever hurt me ?" I repeated myself as I stared down at her .

"Of course not! I would never -" she started but I cut her off .

"Liar " I said making her eyes go wide.

The table went silent nobody knowing what to say or do . I was always soo happy and touchy especially when it came to Ronnie . But not today . Not anymore.

"Y/N What's going on ?" Betty asked confused making me let out a sigh before looking at Veronica and Archie .

"What happened was I saw you guys in the music room ." I exclaimed. I could feel fresh hot tears trying to spill but I refuse to let them out .

"Y/N-" Archie started but I cut him off.

"Shut up , Andrews. You don't get to talk , you've done quite enough."

"Wait , what's going on ?" Kevin asked curious. Not knowing what's was happening.

"I don't know , why don't you ask Veronica." I turned to Veronica, with a sarcastic smile " or are you busy sucking Archie's face off." I questioned.

Ok I know , I'm being petty but can you blame me . I used to think Veronica was only person who could never hurt me . Guess I was wrong.

"Y/N please let's talk about this !" She begged desperately making me shake my head .

"There's nothing to talk about, Were done ." I said , I quickly grabbed my backpack and walked away .

"Y/N! Please !"

I could hear how Veronica called for me but I didn't look back . I just keep on walking . Tears poring down my cheeks like a waterfall .

"Goodbye Veronica." I whispered.
