No one knows exactly what happened, but I have a few guesses. Of course, an old man makes mistakes, but my guesses are usually correct.
I believe the maze was a trap for Harry, and he met Lord Voldemort.
Madam Pomfrey says Harry was tortured before his death.
I can only assume the cut in his arm was made by a blade of some sort.
Perhaps for a ritual? I do not know if he is back, but if he is, we must prepare.
Of course, Cornelius is being difficult. I have tried many times to suggest Lord Voldemort may be back, but he simply won't listen.
Luckily I was able to speak to Barty Crouch Jr. — otherwise known as Mad-Eye Moody — before the Dementors Kissed him. He told me of his master's great plan, of his resurrection, and of Harry's death.
No matter. As long as I am at Hogwarts the children are safe.
I must speak to not only the Diggory family, but Harry's as well. I only hope they are not too upset.
