Others chattered about with such violent tones, waving their hands around in an undefined expression.
I, indifferent, stood quietly in an abandon corner of the household with my fingers wrapped around the cloth covering my stomach.

The sky appeared to be becoming covered by a great, big inhuman monstrosity threatening to destroy humanity.

All but one has failed to notice the time rapidly fading away from our lives. Yet, they kept arguing about insanely insensitive topics from years ago.

I continued to watch as a familiar feline curled up beside me in a possessive manner. I stroke her fur with a wave of anxiety overwhelming me.

Now I watched as the world burned.
