Jungkook focus:
The door to the school rooftop flung open, creating a thunderous growl as it collided with the lampost behind. The look on Jungkook's face could have killed. It was a murderous glare that terrified most students, even his hyungs knew not to disturbe him when he was in this kind of mood. Anyone who did risked their life and those closest to them.
But that murderous stare was wiped clean off Jungkook's face and quickly replaced with a look of disbelief and confusion as he noticed a familar figure sitting in his usual retreat.
* 5 minutes earlier*
Halfway to the lesson he was meant to be in (English) Jungkook was aprubtly stopped by a familar yet loathed ringtone being emitted from his pockets.
Now he was never going to make it to lesson!!
Jungkook fished his phone out from his pocket and answered. This wasn't going to end well. . . .
* Back to present *
Jungkook couldn't believe his eyes, the one person he had been looking for had been hidden away in his sacred space the whole time. However his current mood was not one that would allow the sharing of this space. He needed time alone to think everything over.
But the closer Jungkook looked at the girl, the more he noticed the lack of emotion. Silent tears still ran down her face but other than that there was no sign of life in the girls poor face. Her eyes were empty crystal balls that had seen more than they should have done. Jungkook sighed, he knew that feeling all to well.
It seemed like the young girl hadn't noticed Jungkook's presence. He coughed gently, seeing how close she was to the edge of the roof he didn't want to startle her. His eyes soften as she slowly turned towards him. The previous look of a hollowed out girl was gone and now replaced by a self defensive and angry look that suggested that this was all fake and nothing more than a shield to protect her inner thoughts. Jungkook felt sorry for the girl, this too was an action he was all to familar with.
"What do you want?" The girl questioned in an accusing manner. Jungkook considered this for a moment, there was a lot he wanted but none of which this girl could give him. " Earlier not enough for you?? Thought you would come and make fun of me again did you??" Jungkook was taken back because as far as he was concerned he had never said a comment to the girl earlier, in fact he had tried to help her and now she was accusing him of something he hadn't done.
Normally in any other situation Jungkook would have said just this and straightened out the accusation but he didn't. The girl was too broken for this. And Jungkook knew from past experiences that pushing someone to far could end with the worst outcome possible.
People were like flowers, every petal representing a certain level of hell that each person could take. Over time more and more petals fall until there's nothing left. The end. But pushing that person too far could lead to the fall of that single petal that had been keeping them going for so long.
"Oh....errr....I....umm...." He paused "I wanted to give this back to you, it seemed like it meant a lot to you" he replied as he began to unfold the drawing. The girl snatched her drawing back and got up to leave.
"Wait!!" Jungkook grabbed her arm. The girl hissed in pain and yanked her arm back " WOULD YOU JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!!" and with that she stormed out of the door and slammed it with a slightly terrifying force. 'I only wanted to ask her her name' Jungkook thought to himself.
Jungkook's earlier frustrations came rushing back. No way was he having this anymore!!
He stormed after her!! But instead of slamming the door, it came off it's hinges completely.
