God i hate this already. I thought to myself as i was quietly waiting for the train to appear. I have always hated doing things alone. Whether it was eating out or going to a movie, it really didn't matter. I was officially diagnosed with social anxiety towards the end of my junior year in highschool, although it was already pretty obvious. It's been something I've always struggled with.
People often tell me that having anxiety is simply temporary, and after awhile I'll start learning how to handle it until it's completely gone. This, however, is not the case for me.
I'm currently in my second year of college, on my way home to daegu for the holidays. Last year my friend, jimin, came with me. It made the entire trip way easier and more enjoyable. But this year, unfortunately for me, he has decided to stay in Seoul with his boyfriend.
