Sofia's POV
Loving you is like holding the sun,
and hoping I don't get burned.

"Sofia hurry up, they are going to be here in five minutes" my mothers powerful voice yelled up the stairs to me.

I sighed running my hands through my now perfectly curled hair, while looking at my second face. The lipstick was to bright, eyeshadow and fake lashes making my eyes look bigger and brighter, and the layer of foundation made me look like a completely different person. God I hate wearing makeup.

After I had come inside, my mother sent me straight upstairs to get ready, with out even a simple hello. It's not like I haven't seen you in six months or anything, but whatever.

I had been instructed to take a shower, and once I was done I had come out to see my room filled with random people. Who were apparently the makeup artist and hair dressers. Seriously it's only a simple dinner.

They spent two hours doing everything they needed, and now I am here hoping that some how I will wake up and this whole day would turn out to all just be one big nightmare.  The events of today would not leave my thoughts, I couldn't stop thinking about Sam, he claimed me as his, almost beat up my best friend, was nice to me for like two seconds, and finally was a complete dickhead.  I just wish I could understand what he meant, did he and did he not like me. I mean I don't think you just go out claiming people you don't like, but who knows.

I was brought out of my thoughts to the sound of the doorbell ringing. Great, time to put on my fake smile.

I heard my mother greeting the family down stairs as I sat up. I straightened out my black dress. My mother said she wanted me to wear a red one, but I told her I liked the black one a lot better. It goes with my mood tonight.

I took a deep breath and walked down the stairs. I keep my gaze to my feet as I walked down the stairs, making sure I don't fall and make a foul of myself.

"Oh yes here is my daughter now" I looked up to where I heard my mothers voice. She was smiling at me as I walked over. Well that's fake.

I put on a fake smile in return and looked over to the family. That's when I froze. I felt my breath hitch and my heart began to hummer in my chest, as I locked gazes with icy blue crystal eyes. Sam.

I swallowed the lump in my throat, breaking gazes with Sam as he smirked at me. I looked back over to the rest of the family. Sam was wearing a black dress shirt, with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows, so you could see his tattooed arms. and he wore a pair of black jeans that fit him well.

I looked over to an older looking woman, she had raven black hair just like Sam. Her face held a big beautiful smile that showed off her sparkling white teeth. She was very well built for her age, and she had green eyes.
