El was sitting alone in her house for five hours, with no sign of her dad. She watched some soaps and ate all the eggos in the fridge(hopper would murder her) and slept a bit.

She was thinking of Mike, his lips connected to hers, their tongues united. How much she loved that boy! Actually, she couldn't stay alive for a day without meeting him.

Finally hopper came by.

"Hey kid. Dress up. We are going to the byers' for dinner" he said with low voice

"Hmm...i'm not hungry i ate all the eggos. I'm sorry" el replied with a cute, puppy tone

She expected Hopper to become mad, he always said 'first food then dessert' but he didn't. He seemed guilty for something.

"Okay. But we'll still go"

"Yes daddy"

She dressed up quickly and her and hopper went to will's house

When they arrived, Joyce opened the door happily

"Oh, hey el, .......hey Jim", she said, while giving her a hug

"Hey mrs. Byers" el said, regiving the hug

They got to the living room when she saw will and jonathan watching the ghostbusters. Again

After some minutes, Joyce told them to go to the kitchen table

"So kids, me and Jim wanted to tell you something"

"Yes mom, wassup"

She looked at him
"Well, me and Jim love each other and...and we want to get married"

Jonathan left his spoon on his plate shocked and will looked panicked. It was a big change.

"Oh, like me and mike?" El said

"Yeah, i love your dad like you love Mike"

"Okay, i'm happy for you"El said with a kind smile and a shrug of her shoulders

Joyce gave her a big smile

"Well, if you love him as much as El loves Mike it's okay by me" will agreed

"It's-do whatever you want. Just, mum i don't want you to get hurt" Jonathan announced

"She won't kiddo. I'll protect her"

Oops. The words came out of her mouth so quickly. Will and jonathan shook their heads surprised, joyce couphed and hopper passed out his water

"What?" He said furiously

"Who told you that?"

She looked at Will. She couldn't tell Hopper Mike did, but she couldn't imagine something else to tell.

"Chief, i'm sorry we didn't tell you before, she heard some of these words at school."

"What? At school? I'm sure Wheeler said them. I swear...I'LL KILL HIM!"

"Honey, calm down..." Joyce said, holding his hand

"Mike didn't tell her that word. This boy Troy and his friend did"

"He called me and he told me you heard some things...now i understand. You should have told me El!"

"Jim, why don't we calm down and eat our food? She is old enough to know..." Joyce said while calming him down, her hand still holding his

"She's my daughter and I don't want her to know these things"

"Let's eat " Jonathan said annoyed of this conversation.

El didn't ask them a second time if they had sex.She was pretty sure she knew the answer.
