KOTLC Never ending story.

Chapter 2

Sophie woke up to a buzz on her imparter.

" ARE YOU READY TO GET YOUR MATCHMAKING PACKET!?" Biana shrieked as Sophie's stomach churned at the thought. 

It had been three months since they agreed to get their packets. Sophie wanted to be as excited as Biana but she couldn't help but think about all the What If's. What if she liked no one on her list? What if- Biana stopped her thoughts. 

" Sophie? Did you hear anything I just said?"

When Sophie shook her head Biana grumbled. " I said, Everybody's coming to Fitz and I's house at twelve to open our matchmaking packets. Do NOT open it before you get there. Oh, and bring Iggy please! Bye!"

Sophie sighed and looked at the clock. She grumbled when she saw that it was nine forty seven. She got out of bed and went to her bathroom to take a shower. The warm water on her face was enough to wake her up completely. She has to get over her dumb crush on Fitz. The Vackers were like Elvin Royalty. There was no way they would be matched together. But she couldn't help but remember all the times Keefe had hinted that he liked her. When she was done with her shower she picked out some clothes. She decided on a red tunic and black leggings, boots and gloves. She went to the mirror and put gold eyeliner on. Biana always said gold eyeliner made her eyes look like they had glints of gold in them. After that she brushed her hair and grabbed Iggy then went downstairs for breakfast.

" Hey Kiddo!" Grady said.

 Edaline said " How did you sleep?" While she conjured up green and black goop.

Sophie pocked at the goop while saying " Fine." Honestly she didn't even blink. She couldn't sleep without not knowing what the Neverseen was going to do next. It has been almost two years since their last fight. She finally stirred up the courage to take a bite. It tasted like pancakes but sweeter.

" Here is your matchmaking packet." Edaline said as she conjured Sophie's empty plate away. "You should probably get going."

 She looked at her matchmaking packet begging herself not to open it as she went to the leapmaster and yelled. " Everglen!"

The light pulled Sophie to Everglen right in time to hear yelling coming from Fitz and Biana. Right as Biana saw Sophie she sprinted over to her. Fitz and Dex coming behind her. 

 Dex looked at Sophie as if saying I WAS HERE ALONE WITH BIANA AND WONDERBOY! 

" Who do you think has better eyes, me or Fitz." Biana asks.

One part of Sophie wanted to say Fitz but, that would be awkward. A flash of light stopped her from having to answer. Keefe, Linh, and Tam appeared. 

"Since when do Keefe and Tam hang out?" Dex asked.

" We don't." Tam said glaring at Keefe. 

" We should probably get going." Biana said excitedly. 

They walked to what Fitz and Biana called their home but what Sophie called a castle. While Sophie was admiring the castle she noticed Linh hadn't said anything yet. Sophie thought she would be as excited as Biana was. Maybe even more.

" What's wrong?" Sophie asked when no one else was listening. 

"I don't know, I just feel like I'm not ready for this."

Sophie agreed but didn't want to make her feel even worse so all she said was. " I'm here for you, okay? If you need anything." That seemed like enough because, Sophie could see a smile creep threw her mouth. They went into Biana's giant room. 

" So, now what?" Keefe asked.

"I guess we'll open them on three." Biana said jumping up and down. " 1,2,3!" 

Everything around Sophie disappeared as she opened her packet. When it was fully opened she closed her eyes. This could change everything she thought as she opened her eyes and read the names.
