It has been 6 years since I have been back home and I am very glad for it. I mean graduation was the best day of my life with all the recognition but the stuff I had to do and say just to prove myself was ridiculous. I do However get calls from the principle every now and then to tell me that the difference I made is still going. After all of that, we went to college where we graduated with honors. Mason, Yvonne, Mykah and I have moved in together just to make it easier with expenses. Blaine and Charlie have moved in across the hall but their apartment is more like storage, or at least that is what it feels since they are always here. Mason and I are currently undergoing the process to go into the science department of the helping hands foundation. Mykah and Yvonne are still in the under privileged department. Charlie and Blaine are now in the charities financial department. Mason and I have also recently been offered to be the face of another foundation. The foundation is a foundation for the LGBTQ community. The foundation actually has a website where administrators post vlogs/ videos that help inform people about the struggles of some gay kids or even what neglect can do to them. The foundation has gotten so big that videos have been on social media and the news. Masons little brother Connor is starting middle school soon and having more people around helps us have someone home for Connor. Actually Mason and I are at a public meeting at helping hands where I actually have to speak.

" Sir why do you think kids feel misunderstood when they come out as gay"

" well some kids feel as if when they come out they aren't heard. Most kids don't want you to treat them any different because after all they are still Human. Whenever kids come out their friends and family leave them out of things and get them things that no person would ever want and that is hurtful because the kid knows they are different and that is what makes them special but when people see them differently it means they don't see them as humans. they see them as gay and that's it."

" This foundation says in one report that being gay can be a good and a bad thing. What I fail to see is the good because me personally gay is wrong."

" well first gay is ok because all we want is for people to feel safe and happy. And the good is that it makes you, you. It makes you unique. Being gay doesn't mean your any less smart or anything being gay shows people that there is more to a person than what they see."

" that sounds like a load of crap, gays are taking over the world and your fine with that. what kind of person are you."

" well first I am the one who can kick you out and second we don't like being called gays because people don't see us as humans."

" your not, god has made a mistake and you just accept it."

" we are as god made us, he makes no mistakes, and we are humans. we breathe and bleed like everyone else yes we are sensitive but how would you feel if people and everything else works against you.................. Security get him out of here."

The rest of the people who were waiting to talk, sat down and I am pretty sure didn't breathe.

"well if that is all we have to discuss and if you guys have no questions then I guess we are done here........... Meeting adjourned."

everyone slowly got up and shuffled out of the doors and went into the lobby where their cars were waiting outside. I stepped down from the podium and down off the left staircase which consisted of three stairs.

" hello security boy."

Mason was head of security for this meeting and he is the one who threw out the guy.

" hello snob." He said and kissed me.

" today has been a very long day, How are the girls? I know they wanted to fight against yet another medicine that hasn't been tested properly."

" Haven't heard anything but we will hear about it when we get home."

we both took our ear pieces out and walked out to the cab I had called earlier. the frigid air made every muscle in my body tighten up. Mason opened the door for me and I stepped in as he got in the other side. The cab driver began to leave as Mason told him where we live. the window of the cab was being pelted with soft white snowflakes.

"Mason, do you ever think that we should move back home?"

" do you miss home?"

" yes, I grew up there and now I am here speaking for rights of everyone."

" If we left where would we work, The headquarters is here."

"Well I heard that they were going to open a secondary one where all the meetings would be."

" Maybe one day we will return."

The cab driver stopped and told us to have a nice day. I gave him the money as Mason and I stepped out. After that we ran inside and the door man opened the door.

" thank you sir." I said as Mason started up the stairs.

we walked up four flights of stairs and went to our door and mason unlocked the door. The girls were sitting inside watching movies covered up with fluffy blankets. We stepped in and I closed the door.

" girls how did the meeting go?"

"we won't know the results for awhile but it went well so we are hoping for good results."

"well we don't have to be at work for a couple of days so let the lazy days begin."

Mason and I changed into pajama pants and sat on the couch that connected the girls' couch together. I grabbed a blanket and covered Mason and I as we sat and watched the day away.
