Two years later
Carter has been contracted as the head of school. He and Mason are now married. They have now bought the big house they were staying in and Connor is now 14. Mason runs his own car dealership while Yvonne and Mykah have a cupcake business. The speech Carter gave made a lasting impression and the students haven't been raising many issues. There are now more gay couples out and two new activist clubs. The old principal along with Adrian were sent to a minimum security prison which at that point Adrian was moved to a maximum security facility due to the trial of him trying to kill Carter in a car accident. Yvonne is engaged to a man and is set to marry him in less than a year. Mykah doesn't have a boyfriend but adopted a local kid in need after the kids parents died in a fire. Carter and Mason have also adopted a baby whose mother died during birth. Charlie and Blaine have moved to where everyone else is and have used a surrogate for two kids. They both work at a tech office and and are up for promotions. Carter decided to tell the world of their struggles and how much people need others in time of need by publishing a book. He titled it "my experiences with lifelong struggles and how I overcame them"
The book tells of what they went through with Adrian and the school and how they were able to overcome it. The cover has all of the friends smiling and having fun. Since the first one became so popular he turned it into a series
Book 1 is unlikely love
Book 2 is unlikely truth
And book 3 is unlikely homecoming.
(Yes the series I wrote are the ones I'm talking about. The books I wrote are written exactly how Carter did.... in my mind. You read the characters best selling series.)
The foundation has moved headquarters to the same state and is less than 20 minutes away from everyone.
Carter,Mason, Yvonne, Mykah, Charlie, and Blaine all still help and run the headquarters trouble children's division where they can help kids be who they want to be.
And that is the end of the seris.
Thanks to everyone who has read all stories and have been with me on this journey. I really didn't expect the first book to be as popular as it is so I made it a series to tie up loose ends and give a proper ending.
I am currently working on another story. It sets up with two boys (Wesley and Peter) who live very different lives but appear to be normal to an untrained eye. The two start to develop feelings for each other when Wesley helps Peter and his dad when their truck breaks down. When the two spend an entire night texting they realize that they might want to be more than friends. With those feelings they live in fear of telling each other and even telling anyone else.
Will they confess their love? Or will they choose to hide it?
Find out on fighting for love.
