Chapter 12

It has been 3 weeks since this all has happened. New Peter has been a great friend to hangout with and Ned too since the Mary Jane's don't exist anymore. Peter had been in a relationship with me from his world but I don't want to pursue it with him because deep down I know he isn't the same Peter and being with him would only make me remember my time with my Peter. He is still a good friend though. We have only been helping with small crimes like fires and robberies, there haven't been any supervillains causing trouble. Peter showed me his daily Spiderman routine . He spends his day mostly on top of a building next to a police radio.
"So you come up here every day".
"Yeah, I don't always come here for Spiderman business sometimes I come here for the sunsets or in some cases sunrises".
"Yeah the view is pretty nice".
Peter and I watched the sunset for awhile until he slid his hand over mine. I figured it would best to tell him now instead of later.
"Hey Peter I have to tell you something".
"Sure Gwen".
"I just want to be your friend not your girlfriend. I know you and the Gwen from your world were together but I'm not her and your not the Peter from my world and it would only make me think of him".
He pulled his hand away. His got more confused and hurt but it quickly faded back.
"It's okay".
"Really".
"Yeah I'm just glad that a Gwen is back".
"Good cause it's cool to have you as a friend".
Just then the radio went off
"All units there is hijacking on 3rd street".
"Well let's get on it Peter".

Somewhere in an Unknown Location

2 hours later
Peter POV

"That was some hijacking".
"No kidding I didn't figure crooks had taken a money transporter".
"Oh crap it's 7:00 o clock I got meet my dad at central park see you Peter".
"See you Gwen".
I went home that night a little depressed. Why was Gwen rejecting me I know I not from her world but come on. I have been rejected before heck in my world she turned me down the first time I asked her out anyway. Maybe I should give it a while before trying again. I was pretty exhausted when I got home, I pretty much went to bed first thing. I laid there for awhile not fall asleep. I heard my bedroom door creak open so jumped up to see who it was but it was just Uncle Ben.
"Sorry Peter, you left your bag down stairs I figured I would bring it up for you"
"Okay Uncle Ben".
He left and I laid back down. As I laid there I remember that Uncle Ben and Aunt May went to Boston for the weekend and wouldn't be back until tomorrow. My eyes shot open, who was that. Suddenly black web like tentacles began to engulf me. I started to panic trying to cry for but couldn't I eventually passed out.
