*** 3 Days Later***

I woke up early the next morning with a plan already forming in my head. It was my last day in Los Angeles and I didn't know if it would work and it could ruin the only chance Nate and Blake had at becoming friends, or else everything would go just swimmingly. Literally. I smile to myself, I was either really smart or a complete idiot. Probably the latter. I fumble for my phone on the bedside table before accidentally knocking it off and onto the ground. I lean over the end of the bed, my fingers just happening to close around the familiar rectangular shape, as I fall off the bed, my legs tied up in the blankets. I let out a loud, dramatic sigh, trying to untangle my legs from the blankets. After a ten minute struggle and a few bruises, I am no longer bound and am free from the bed's clutches. I quickly send two of the same texts, one to each of the boys I loved most in life.

Hey, sorry to bother you. I was wondering if you're not busy if you wanted to meet me at the pools at 10 today. Since it's my last day here. Hope to see you there. K

There, I had sent the texts, short and sweet like myself. Now all I needed was both of them to reply. I crossed my fingers in luck, checking my cellphone every few seconds for replies. I get up quickly heading over to the kitchen and placing an order for a berry smoothie. Thinking that since it's my last day, I should at least try something from the opposite side of the menu - the healthy side.

I stare at the deep, crimson coloured smoothie and pull a face. It looked the colour of blood, which when I thought about it made me want to vomit. But I had to stay true to myself and took a delicate sip. Before pulling away from the drink and staring at it in shock. It was actually really good. Good enough for me to order a second one, which I gladly did. I was almost tempted to order a third, but I didn't want to seem greedy. Walking back over to my phone, I unlock the screen, seeing I have two texts. I hold my breath as I read through both of them.

Hey KitKat, I will definitely meet you there at 10, I'm already planning on being in that area today, so I can make some time to meet you. N.

Hi lovely, I'll be there, you can count on me! I can't wait to see you! I want to make the most of your last day here together. B. xoxo

I smile and pump the air with my fist. They could both make it. Now to make sure this little set up goes well. I'm just about ready to find some clothes to wear for later today, when my phone goes off again, with another text from Blake.

They say Disneyland is the happiest place on Earth. Well, apparently no one has ever been standing next to you. B.

Although Blake was cute and adorable and I couldn't help swooning at his words, I didn't have time to fangirl over him, again. I had a new friendship to build. I quickly rummaged through my half-packed suitcase to find an outfit and my swimming clothes - that I had never taken out of my bag for the whole trip. I carefully pack my two-piece bathing suit and towel into my light blue satchel and leave it on my bed as I get changed. I look at my watch, only one and a half hours to go. I turn my playlist on and blasting it through the house to annoy my brother, by singing while I was getting ready.

"If you want me, a cherry on top, the pick of the peck,

The creme de la crop.
