today i realized
the biggest hypocrite of them all
was me.
all this time, i
kept telling everyone to keep holding on;
told them that there's light at every end.
and as they continue to wait
everything will get better.
those people that i've told,
to always have hope
it's too early to give up and
they need to keep trying
they have so much to live for.
and there is me.
i'm barely holding on.
