Art?

i 'm still alive (featuring my current favorite art)

my art is improving but the reads are going down

maybe because never post

here's a drawing i did for art club in november

it was my first time really trying something with ink pens/in this style and i really like how it came out

i started this one on my own but ended up using it for art club too

i used graphite pencils, letters from newspapers, torn up book pages/matte modge podge on pocky boxes, and put it all onto one of the pieces of cardboard from a picture frame

i felt like i wasn't being very creative with my art like i just find a picture i like and redraw it so i cut lyrics out of newspapers, came up with an idea, and found a reference

i think this is my favorite piece i've ever made and i wish the picture i took made it look as good as it does in real life

it's really weird but it definitely evokes emotion (discomfort) (but i'm also compelled to smile back at it???) in me at least so i guess it's art

it's based off the album cover for lens by frank ocean

we learned how to use photoshop in one of my classes and one of the assignments was to make a traced portrait

i wish i could have drawn it myself cause i feel like it's not as much of an accomplishment when it's traced but i still like it

the printer made the colors even more saturated than they already are so you can barely see his face in the print that's hanging up in the classroom window

i have more stuff i'm working on/planning to do and hopefully i won't take another five months to post any of it
