Every recipe has a story behind it. Everything we cook has some sort of background. Take skewers for example. When we cut meat into smaller sizes, does it really mean that we want the spices to permeate them? It also means that the opportunity cost of eating skewers of meat is foregoing the steak that we could have had. We could braise it. But that does not tell the story. Skewered meat has a different appeal. A beach bar b q has more of a chance at being festive, when everyone has taken a skewer of meat, done away with it, and oh! But where did they throw tye skewer? No hassle right? Imagine a beach bar b q with steaks. We'd need a plate, or something of that sort if the steaks are too hot. With a skewer we can hold it piping hot and burn our tongues.
That's a story about skewers! So just take your lime and sprinkle some juice over my recipes and dig in.
My recipes will stem from various western and eastern influences. I cook middle eastern food mostly, because I find it refreshing!
